Bar staff were amazing. I wish I got they names but there was on man with long hair in ponytail he made us so welcome, he couldn't do enough for us. There was also one in the evening that was brilliant again didn't get his name. Breakfast was just OK, beans were super sweet put us off everything else. But lots of choice. Place was clean enough a little dated in places but still value for money.

Nothing we didn't like just couldn't get shower to work. I think pages should add the pool is closed

Beer prices expensive used to be reasonable .Very cold in bar area main heating not on only small inadequate electric heaters. Had to fetch coats as Too cold for comfort told barman we were cold and he said there was no heating or air-conditioning in working order. Bar very quiet no atmosphere not like when we have stayed previously .Restaurant not open food only served in bar area so we went elsewhere. On previous visits always had meals here good quality and value. Charged more for room by hotel than on final invoice that we had from booking .com Hotel did not appear to have received final amended invoice that we had from booking .com . I did produce this to them as proof they could only use the invoice that they had .

Loved the staff they were helpful polite and always hardworking . Their teamwork was excellent . We Liked the location I attended hospital for cancer treatment so the location was perfect for us . Have booked again to attend hospital again . This decision was made because of the wonderful service the staff provide nothing was too much trouble . The views are great however the windows need an upgrade . The hotel suited our needs . Hope they can upgrade it at some point ...??.

The building does not reflect the service you get within . The structural appearance is poor. The interior and exterior needs upgrading the standard of decoration is poor as painting over wallpaper that needs replacing is of a poor standard .and is not acceptable really .. This does not mean the standard of painting is poor its the standard of works to be done is poor . The running water in bathroom took too long to get hot 🔥.. There should be a choice of walk in showers in bathrooms. Lovely breakfasts white tablecloths star attentive at all times . Needs massive financial input for refurbishment ..

Outside doesn't do it justice and the room and restaurant were far too hot (heating was on full blast) which made us feel a little sick - really need air conditioning Need bed guards for bedding which little children sleep in. My daughter slid out of the bed head first into the small gap between the bed and the wall and burned herself on the boiling hot radiator pipe running along the wall. Pipes need boxing in.

My stay was for 9 nights staying in 2 different rooms. They were both spotlessly clean apart from some small stains on an armchair and the carpets. Beds very comfortable with choice of pillows. Hot drinks tray great. The sea view was fabulous. I appreciated the use of an iron and ironing board which was brought to my room. All staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with requests I had - including reception, housekeeping and TV technician. Car park good.

The WiFi in parts of the building evidently is very poor and for some guests could be important during their stay. Outside of building looks very sad. Maybe once interior renovation is finished that will have a facelift too :-)

I was so pleasantly surprized about how lovely the reception was, how warm the staff were. I entered my bedroom for the evening to be greeted with such a special touch, warm welcome letter with my personal name on, a bottle of water with some sweet treats that blow me away! what a great start to my evening staying at this hotel. The rooms were so lovely, clean and warm. I wish all hotels give this very special warm welcome, i will stay again without a doubt and i had such a relaxing time in your hotel. Well-done to the hotel, staff what made this very special.

Stayed here numerous times and it never fails. Room was spotlessly clean. Comfortable and quiet. Maltesers a nice gesture and two chocolates on the bed. Refreshment tray with tea/ coffee. Lovely spotlessly clean shower over the bath. Nice view across to the mountains behind. Although the swimming pool was closed, the hotel ( if you want it) supply a voucher to use at the leisure centre next door . We didn't dine at the hotel so can't comment on food . We were room only .

While the room was lovely the only issue we had are the hot water pipes that run around the room. They are very hot and inaccessible therefore the temperature in the room was very warm. There was a fan supplied and opened window as wide as we could but it remained warm . We spoke to reception the following morning and they were aware of the issue and are looking into it.

Second time staying as really loved the first. Was just as amazing. Staff were really helpful. Couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great stay. Decided this time to eat in the restaurant. But cold for fish and chips on the beach. It did not disappoint. Waited a bit longer as food was all cooked fresh. Definitely worth the wait. Bar was well stocked so plenty to choose from. Ambience was perfect. Could have stayed all night. Music playing was perfect. Not too loud. Lighting was also great. Everywhere was clean. Room was spotless as well. Great views. Asked for extra pillows and was dealt with quickly and Efficiently and very quickly. Slept amazing. Bed was perfect. Not too soft and not too hard. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. Was sad to check out. Not I’ve found a great little getaway. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe I’ll be able to do more than one night

When I arrived the receptionist was amazing. Really polite and helpful. Even got someone to help carry my luggage to my room. Views are amazing. Room is really smart and everything you need for a stay. We didn’t have dinner. Got some fish and chips from Franco’s and walked along the beach. Shops are really good. Passed a few restaurants. Even a cinema close by. Bed was really comfy and slept soundly. No noise from outside. Breakfast was all you could want and more. Are in the conservatory. Check out was easy and quick. Staff are really helpful and amazing. As a best western it lives up to its reputation. Already looking at my next visit

the hotel is in a perfect loaction for the beach and we were going to a family party locally. it was ideal! rooms are really clean, although tired - but this doesnt effect satisfaction, i wasnt paying for a luxury, modern hotel. it was wonderful! staff are pleasant and friendly, everyone i encountered was helpful and welcoming!

my room was boiling hot - i think because it was in the corner and had a heating pipe run all the way around. there was a fan in the room which made it more comfortable. Again, nothing to spoil the stay, but worth noting. It is an old hotel so no air con or heating control which you might be used to. i like my room cooler - personal preference 😊
