Great motel lovely big room and ensuite - great furnishings - good breakfast and very clean everywhere - I would definitely go back - easy access to porthcawl etc - dinner on the 2 nights I went was superb tapas on Thursday and prawn cocktail & chicken in peppercorn sauce on Friday - the waitresses and bar girls were very pleasant and friendly it's great for solo travellers I would have scored it 10/10 apart from little niggles listed below the bed being the biggest issue

No razor socket in bathroom for razor or toothbrush Socket by bed but no mirror to see when drying hair No hairdryer Mattress was very very hard and uncomfortable

Staff, especially Ali were all great, friendly pleasant and welcoming. Our ground floor room was large with plenty of storage space. It was very clean. We appreciated the fresh white bed linen. Parking was right alongside the main door. Very quiet at night but lots of lights outside which meant the room wasn’t dark. Meals were very good and huge portions!

I would like to have seen a better range of wine and at least one real ale( it’s a busy place so real ale would go quickly.) Wi-Fi wasn’t very good. The place needs a refurbishment but given the difficulties that the hospitality business has endured over the last 10 years or so, we completely understand.

My stay at this hotel in Wales was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and warm welcome, instantly making me feel at ease. The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by a sense of peace that made it the perfect escape. Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness, creating an atmosphere that felt both relaxing and inviting. I left feeling refreshed and truly cared for. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and exceptional service.

Loved everything about the property

Everything 😄 visited with my daughter & grandson, 17th-19th Aug. Staff were wonderful, 2 lovely members of staff that we met, Sarah, & I think the other lady's name was Emma, were so helpful, friendly & funny. I think I also met Jackie (proprietor) Room was lovely & clean, quiet, comfy beds. Breakfast was very good, asked if we could have fried bread on our full English, no problem 😋 Evening meal was superb, best lasagne I've had in a long time. Good location too as we went into Porthcawl. All in all, would definitely stay again & would recommend 👌

WiFi a little slow, but not an issue

have already written a review on the facebook page but to summerise everything was as we expected having stayed here a couple of years ago loved all the staff and the food is mostly excellent and there is a lot of it, prices are reasonable and is way better than any Premier Inn we have ever stayed at

didn't like watching Arsenal getting beat by PSG during our stay but not the motels fault, only complaint is my poached eggs took 10 minutes to arrive on Sunday morning and were rock solid and uneatable, obviously the proper chef had a day off, we will be back in 2026 thanks to you all

Spacious and comfortable motel room with a great breakfast. Friendly staff and excellent value for money.

Wifi worked for the first 2 days only then nothing for the remaining 4 days (not recognising given password). Staff put this down to ‘weather’ conditions (highly unlikely….!) Walls were surprisingly thin for a ‘not that modern’ build. Next room must have left tv on and fallen asleep one night - despite being low-ish volume, it was enough to keep me awake, until I eventually had to (gently) knock the wall as a hint!

Accommodation was very roomy and comfortable. Excellent bathroom facilities with hot shower and soft bath towels. Room was quiet and warm with good lighing. Breakfast was superb...cooked breakfast beautiful. Staff were friendly and very helpful and accommodating ...on last morning I had to leave before breakfast was officially served and staff actually gave me a packed breakfast sandwich for the journey!!! Nothing was too much trouble. Meals served in the dining room were inexpensive but very good quality Very homely place to stay. Easy parking and very good access to local area just off the M4. I shall recommend it to others and I shall be back. Thanku.

The exterior actually looks rather rundown and really does not reflect the quality accommodation inside so that needs attention.

Stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend and was very pleased with the rooms and layout of the building. Free parking and breakfast . Staff were so nice and spent a few hours in the bar and locals were very welcoming. I must say the lovely cleaning girls are absolutely marvellous and so nice to be welcomed by cheerful , friendly people who clearly love making customers happy. They are a credit to green acre motel so make sure you look after them and reward there hard work. Overall our stay was lovely , clean and friendly and we will be back again . It is the staff that really make the stay at Green Acre Motel memorable. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a good breakfast and two evening meals. The food was well cooked and the portions very generous. We were walking the Wales Coastal path and it was a very short drive down to the Coast so the location was very good for us.

Most of the beds were fine but one of the single beds was rather uncomfortable. The premises would benefit from some refurbishment but for the amount of time we spent there, it wasn't an issue.

All went well overall its what i expected

At 0730 i could not get to the breakfast room as the door to it was locked i was in room 4 and did not know how to get to the breakfast room via the stairs , so i went to the front of motel trying to get someone's attention , knocking window sand trying doors until i found a door to the Breakfast room open on the rear terrace Also i booked my evening meal the day before for 7pm on FRIDAY 5th , their was no record of it upon arrival , i rang at 1518 on Thursday 4th and spoke to a woman .
