Site was well appointed, clean with more facilities than I expected. Access was via codes and this worked well. Cowbridge 10-minutes walk once we found the shortcut into Cowbridge via the pathway through past the pods (ignore the 50+ minute googlemaps route). Really nice to have the picnic tables outside and forage, that served a good breakfast from 9am, so near. Noise from A48 was low between 22:00 - 7:00 but picked up at peak travel times. However, once the window was shut it was barely perceptible. Stopped 6 nights from Sunday to Saturday.

Codes were sent through originally but "disappeared" from email and Booking.com messages for 2 out of the 4 parties stopping there. A quick text to the contacts sorted this within 10-minutes. The path to the steps to get to Cowbridge is quite dark and uneven once past the gate so ensure you have your torch app on your phone at hand in the evenings.

Convenient to Cowbridge and the A48 to Porthcawl Large room BEECH with comfortable beds , large shower and pretty outlook. If warm weather pleasant to sit outside at picnic table or a short safe , steep walk into Cowbridge for restaurants and shops. Farm shop on site was great for breakfast . Parking very close to the cabins Getting into the cabin with keypad worked well .

The cabins are adjoining and little soundproofing between them Sadly we had noisy neighbours who had tele on til late It can work though as our other neighbours were respectful. Would benefit from more information in the cabin Very stiff outer door and leaking shower

It was so easy to access the room, and I enjoy the autonomy of being able to arrive and get into the room without needing to meet anyone. The room had a fridge, tea/coffee, a kettle, and an iron. Ample storage space for clothes and luggage items, efficient heating, including a heated towel rack, and nice ambient lighting via a dimmer switch, lamps, and soft, mirror lighting in the bathroom. It's so easy to walk into the town from the cabins. Don't listen to Google maps which wants you to walk the road way. You can get to the closest bus stop in 5 mins, and the centre of town in 10 via the footpath directly Infront of the cabins.

Location good & 15 minute walk to village, but shortcut to village extremely steep steps if you're fit or walk round the road. Room & bed comfortable. Fridge in room. Bench tables outside, but covered veranda nice to sit under if you take your own seats. There's also a pleasant walk down the public footpath down past the animals & a seating area/playground outside the farm shop/restaurant. As an alternative, can also recommend The Penny Farthing in the village if the farm restaurant is booked up. Good value for money despite a few recommendations, but would definitely book again.

No information book in room, so was unaware of the need to book breakfast - an hour wait so missed out on this, as it's a busy farm restaurant open to public. Insufficient utensils to make your own cereal etc (knife, bowl, plate). Very basic, tea making only. Hot shower tap was very stiff (esp if you've got weak hands) & water extremely hot, so couldn't shower on the 1st morning but staff informed, so likely to be remedied.

I didn't actually stay at Cowbridge Cabins myself, I made the booking on behalf of friends and family who were attending our wedding. My review is based on their feedback and our visit to the cabins before the event. The cabins were clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. The staff were very kind, friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any query I had.

The only bits of negative feedback I received from the guests who stayed were that the small fridges were a bit noisy during the night and the displays on the heaters were bright.

The place was clean, easy to access (door code - perfect as we arrived late!) and the location for us was great. The WiFi was good and facilities were nice. Great water pressure in the shower, nice and hot too!

The bed was a little harder than I would like, and the pillows (at least the pillows in our room) were rock solid - I came away with a bit of a stiff neck. If I had to nitpick the toiletries could have been a bit better but wouldn't stop me staying here again!

Help from the friendly owner as our door wouldn't lock, which he had fixed in a couple of hours. Thankyou. Comfortable, warm room. The heating was great once I had figured out how it worked. Plenty of parking close to the cabin. Beautiful grounds and views.

The fridge obviously hasn't been used for sometime and needed a quick clean. I couldn't get BBC on the TV although I tried all I knew but this is a minor point. BBC I player worked. Neither spoiled our stay.

Amazing place, fantastic, helpful & friendly staff, when arrived was met by Morgan & young Ralph, i asked for use of iron etc, it was available and brought, so dont be afraid to request something if needed, very clean room, clean & working fridge, clean and fresh bedding, the pics i saw didnt do it justice, I highly recommend this place, for solo, families and couples. the bathroom and shower is excellent and modern, for me thats a big thumbs up, also not overpriced at all for what you get in such a wonderful setting.

The cabin was clean and of a fair size for two adults and a child. The location was wonderful though a little difficult to find if like us you find the entrance to the farmhouse and not the site for the cabins!! Overall a great stay and would be more than happy to use again.

Just a little hard to find from the direction we came from but maybe that’s our fault!! Though the room was clean and comfortable I wouldn’t want to pay any more money than what we paid. Not enough towels to last our stay as well as tea bags, but we did survive without these.

Good location clean and staff was very helpful plus lots of milk to have with a cuppa in the morning which was lovely to see as most place don’t leave enough

Everything was fab we just got a little lost/confused about entrance but that no reflection on the cabins
