There was a good choice of items for breakfast and the cooked options were tasty and plentiful. Karen who served our breakfast was attentive & friendly, Maisie who we met at the evening meal had an excellent knowledge of the meals & described a dessert we were considering in wauth watering detail

The geographical location of the Inn caused internet reception at a low level with a quality that was intermittent

We were late arriving so the manager phoned to see if we wanted food because kitchen closes at 8.30 we got there by that time and he made sure we were fed the food was excellent my stake melted in my mouth and what the granddaughter and the wife had was excellent would highly recommend this hotel very friendly welcoming staff and nice relaxing pub atmosphere and excellent value for money and room was great as well thank you very much

That we missed breakfast because we left at 3am because I would imagine it was as good as the evening meal can't. Prise it enough thank you for a wonderful stay

The place is nice, warm and friendly. It is a busy spot for tourism. Nice staff. Very good food in the evening but also breakfast was great!!!!! The bed was perfect !

The place is big and the cleaning of things could be better. For the most at the table in the restaurant. But the food is perfect!!! The table in the morning breakfast was not clean... The rooms are very very noisy! Every step of your neighbour you will here. We had a young family as neighbour.... with a baby and 6 year old.....the sound until 2 o'clock were not fun....

Top quality establishment, staff were friendly, approachable and accommodating even checked in with us before arrival to see if we would be dining with them tonight. Idyllic location local to all amenities like shops, beach etc but also rural enough to feel miles from anywhere. Have not stayed somewhere this nice in a long time. Secure at night with gates closed. Room was modern yet inkeeping with the rural surroundings, staffs approach was very professional yet familiar, was like being welcomed into their family/home. Had an amazing night sleep, bed was comfortable, room temperature was perfect and the surroundings were so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. Plentiful coffee and teas in the room, body wash and conditioning shampoo also provided. Morning breakfast was delicious, ample continental on offer but the selection of hot breakfast on offer is a great added bonus. We opted for the Welsh breakfast which was of great quality, well presented and absolutely delicious, definitely a breakfast not to be missed. Will definitely visit again.

No complaints here, we Loved everything about our stay. The hotel, staff, location, room and breakfast were great.

Stayed in room 7 - good size -fair size bathroom - bed was huge! Clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the idea of the free standing wooden clothes rail instead of a wardrobe. The room decor was quite good with muted earthy tones which is very much to my taste. The bar and lounge/restaurant area is lovely.

Only one small issue.... we stayed new years eve 2024 and due to covid and other issues since, the bar closed by 10pm. We were informed by the hotel owner that there is a new years eve party planned for 2025.... That will be fantastic if it goes ahead.

I had an amazing stay! The bed was possibly the biggest bed I have ever stayed in, with the smart TV and the bath just completing the room to be the perfect size to create the best relaxing weekend getaway. Not to mention the delicious breakfast and the extremely friendly staff who go above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible - for example phoning me when I was arriving to ask if I wanted any food when I got there before they closed the kitchen. Extremely considerate and a very lovely touch!

Upon arrival greeted by friendly member of staff who showed us to our room. Room lovely and spacious with own en suite and appeared clean. The bed was comfortable, nice quiet place even though it was inside a pub! Breakfast was delicious and filling with generous portions and nothing was too much trouble with Karen checking in on us regularly as she was attentive. We enjoyed it so much we booked an extra night and would definitely recommend to anyone. Good location and evening meal was also delicious- not included in price as extra but well worth the money.

The toilet basin and seat had not been throughly cleaned- no other complaints!

Our stay here was very short as we had to catch a flight at 3am and transport to the airport. Since we were missing breakfast the hotel put together a bag full of food for us to take along. The rooms and restaurant were very good and we were glad we did not have to leave the hotel to find a place to eat.
