We stayed in the Honeymoon suite for the day before, of and after our wedding experience at Tracadero. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, balcony, breakfast and pool service. The staff was overall charming and welcoming to us. Some waiters went above and beyond on our wedding day and we will never forget that. Our trip was during the low season, which meant the hotel wasn’t at capacity — it was amazing!!! Felt very chill and actually relaxing. Very cool natural pools to jump into if you want a break from the winding pools throughout the property. NOTE: meals aren’t automatically included, which was great for us, but is important to share as it is a different kind of resort experience.

Minor cleanliness hiccup on first day, I advise it’s better to speak directly to cleaning staff instead of front desk. Room required 3 flights of stairs to reach, we were not alerted of this beforehand re: accessibility.

Incredible value for this resort. The villas are comfy, super clean, and well equipped. Staff very nice and always available. The pool area is super relaxing with nice view. Parking available for free.

nothing attributable to them, we booked an excursion through them at Saona island and it wasn't the best experience. The boat never stopped for snorkeling, which for me was the whole point of taking the boat. it was more focused on partying on the boat and a nice lunch on the island, in an area full of boats, so it was not nice to swim. In the end I didn't use mask and fins

The resort restaurant is good, plus there are several Italian restaurants and pizzerias in the village nearby, which is a ten-minute walk down the street. The swimming pools and view are excellent. The staff was very good to excellent. We did a spa treatment that we both enjoyed. The air conditioning in the first room we had wasn't working, so they changed us to a better room on the floor above, which was very nice. The view was beautiful, and we got an apartment for a low price.

The air conditioning in the room we stayed in on the first of nine nights was broken. They switched rooms quickly when we complained, so it wasn't an issue. The water in the swimming pools was a bit cold, so we didn't swim, although that wasn't a priority.

The services were wonderful. Five salt water pools that poured out into the Caribbean. Half of the pools are exclusive for hotel guests so you sometimes get lucky and have it just for yourself. The restaurant was also delicious with a big variety of foods and drinks. They had everything from pizza to tomahawk steak. And on the Saturday there was live music. It was really fun! The nature was also a great highlight. There were lots of crabs and fish. Some of the best snorkelling we had was at the hotel (and we were in Las Terrenas and Punta Cana)

We loved the property. The different pools and ocean access were great. The snorkeling at resort was wonderful. The restaurant had great food and very reasonable prices. Very convenient to la romana and Bayahibe. Shops and other eateries within walking distance.

Property was hard to complain about. Most of the staff was very nice and even though I only speak English were patient with me and we made due.

Amazing location, beautiful nature. Hotel by itself is very stylish . Food was just superb, delicious. Our villa was spotless, clean, and very spacious.

The staff (except the lady from reception) weren't kind. We felt ourselves not welcomed. No smile, no "good morning" or "good afternoon", no "thank you for your stay." No English speaking 99%. Limited breakfast selection makes this hotel definitely not a 5-star.

The location, the gardens, the pools and the sea.

In the first 2 days, we had problems with our room, had to move 3 times and we paid more than expected. In one of our rooms the AC did not work; the safety box did not open. The problems were solved in a satisfactory way.

The pool area and views are very nice

Super pricey for what is offered and the staff is not friendly, definitely not what I'm used to when it comes to the Dominican Republic and its people who tend to be super nice and hospitable. There are also zero activities to do. It's a nice place to relax/for a beach club and to go for the day, but not worth the price to stay overnight. The rooms are outdated, and some of the towels and bed sheets were stained. The breakfast was just okay, and again the staff seem to be annoyed when serving us.

The seven (7!) swimming pools were lovely and all with a different character. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the rooms were lovely. The staff was extremely responsive. The food at the restaurant was very good - lots of fresh seafood with an Italian flavor.

I always like beach access, so I was a bit disappointed that we did not have that. But the pools and the setting made up for it. We got our beach fi by taking the one-day excursion to Saona Island.

having to leave and we wish there were more shade options at the private pools for guests staying at the resort. For example, umbrellas in the pools or shaded areas along the edge of the pools so you can be in the water and in the shade. The pool right by the bar is the only one that has any shade in the water near the gazebos.
