The view of the vineyards and hills was quite exceptions with the added bonus of a balcony having table and chairs. The breakfast was simple but a very good variety given the size of the hotel. The common room was exceptionally comfortable, modern, and clean, also with an exceptional view of the vineyards. A washer and dryer for use by guests was another very convenient feature.

Kitchen privileges might be considered a plus but the cooking odors from other guests became overwhelming and drifted up into our room. There should be stricter rules about using the kitchen (please, no fish in the microwave!) including required use of the exhaust fan and closure of kitchen doors.

The balcony from one of our rooms had a beautiful view of the vineyard. Staff was caring and responsive. Front desk helped make reservations for us at the restaurants in town. Breakfast was excellent. Freshly squeezed Orange Juice and Baked Bread. We had purchased the Valandraud Platinum Wine tasting experience. Daphne was professional, informed sommelier, courteous and good natured. We also met the lovely couple who own the winery. Theirs is a inspiring story of how an outsider to the wine making business succeeded despite all odds and challenges. We wish them and the vineyard lots of success.

Everything was great. No complaints. We might visit again in future at some point.

The location, just outside of St. Emillion, was both convenient and quiet. The view, and being able to walk amongst the vineyard was wonderful. Our host, Elizabeth was most helpful in making us a reservation at a fabulous little restaurant in St. Emillion. AND - Elizabeth's eggs in the morning were the creamiest, most astounding scrambeled eggs !!! ( One problem though - She wouldn't reveal her secret recipe ??? )

Only the unexpected inclimate weather. Because of the rain, we didn't have enough time to use the beautiful swimming pool.

The combined areas, lounge, kitchen, outdoor spaces all had so much space that we barely ran into other guests. Stunning view and the rooms are large, luxurious and comfortable.

The communication at the venue was difficult with neither of us speaking French. So much so that we did not have a tour of the winery as we did not know who to ask or when. Thank goodness for translation apps that helped with the basics.

Lovely accommodation in a very nice vineyard with good views over the valley. Nadia & Elizabeth were wonderful staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Very comfortable shared lounge with actual Netflix access. Good sized room with excellent bathroom. Excellent water pressure in shower and very good air conditioning for heating and cooling. Quiet location and reasonable breakfast. Parking is plentiful, easily accessed and free. The decor is modern and tasteful. Bed is very comfortable with blackout curtains in the bedroom. There are USB chargers by the bedsides. Wine tours available on site. Free use of kitchen to self cater if required. Location is equidistant from St, Emilion and Castillion. Large LeClerc Supermarket and discount fuel at Castillion. Excellent big and thirsty towels (best so far in France).

No desk on our room but we were able to use a table in the dinning room. WiFi is a bit weak and slow in all areas (Max of 3 Mb/s). Breakfast could use more fruit and/or berries. Access to restaurants require a drive of about 8 minutes and roads are narrow so night driving can be a bit hazardous.

The staff were very nice and kindly upgraded our room to the best room in the hotel which had an amazing view of the vineyards and countryside - magical. The location was very good being a short drive to St Emilion. It's a nice property in a vineyard location - perfect for our stay. Andrea kindly did an out of hours wine tasting on site for us and then gave us a tour the following morning of another winery - she is very knowlegeable and helpful.

We loved the place : very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, quiet locat[, in the vineyard, the possibility to use the kitchen, the refreshing pool, the shared living room. Very relaxing stay! Yummy breakfast!

We wish we could have visited the Chateau but this is only our fault as we did not reserve soon enough. Next time! 😊

Beautiful surroundings, lovely setting and homelike atmosphere. Terrific breakfast, absolutely lovely hostess who helped us at breakfast time. I can’t recall if I knew her name but she is very sweet young lady with the brightest smiling eyes. She even came to us when weather was a bit wet and asked if we’d like to see the wine production facility. She was most accomplished and a welcoming hostess for Valendraud. It’s not the first time I’ve been - will be back!

There was a warm welcome from Cindy. The room was beautiful with a fabulous bathroom and lovely views across vineyards. We liked the calm atmosphere. There's no restaurant but there is advice about restaurants in StEmilion 5km away, or the use of a kitchen to heat up a meal and a dining room to est in. There's also a beautiful sitting room.Breakfast is good.

Nothing to dislike

Our stay at Le Logis de Valandraud was exceptional. All of the facilities were top notch! We had the place to ourselves and used the kitchen which was perfect. Our son watched DVD's while we drank wine and enjoyed the amazing view! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Nothing, small comment a little far out especially fi you have to get some groceries. But small detail.
