Our bedroom was beautiful, overlooking the vines. Perfect air conditioning too, as it was very hot outside, but the air conditioning was pretty much silent. The windows could be opened if required. The bed was made with excellent quality bed linens and the towels in the en-suite were also very good. Everything was very clean. Christine and Christophe were lovely to chat with, both having perfect English. They gave us good tips of where to go, including a restaurant at another vineyard that is nearby so easily walkable. The breakfast was served by them, and as others have said, Christophe’s scrambled eggs were delicious as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. We enjoyed using the lounge area in the most comfy armchairs in the evening. We also used the kitchen to store some food and cook it on one evening. All top quality kitchen appliances. Included in our stay was a tour of the Chateau Monlot vineyard. Clement’s tour was very informative and we had a fun tasting of the vineyard’s wines. He also runs the shop which is quite impressive. All in all a lovely peaceful stay and we would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Christine and Christophe were very generous hosts. Very detail oriented and went above and beyond all requests. They gave us good recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. Upon arrival they picked us up part way through the train station and where we were staying, because we just decided to walk, and they just wanted to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. They helped to schedule dinners, provided us with bicycles, and they made breakfast every morning we were there. Christophe makes some of the best eggs I’ve ever had. They are very genuine and nice individuals.

From the very moment we arrived, our experience was simply unforgettable. Petit Monlot is an absolute gem — lovingly cared for in every tiny detail and set among the breathtaking vineyards of Saint-Émilion. What truly made our stay magical was the passion, kindness, and wonderful sense of fun of Christine and Christophe. We can’t wait to see you both again — we’ll most certainly be back, and visiting you will be a cherished annual tradition for us.

We had a lovely 2-night’s stay at this a bed and breakfast, located at a chateau property close to Saint-Emilion. Many thanks to the hosts, Christine and Christophe, for their warm-hearted and open-minded behavior. We felt very welcome and got lots of good tips for sights and activities nearby, including a private wine tasting. The accommodation was great with very clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was perfect. Christophe – a skilled chef - made us the best scrambled eggs ever! We highly recommend the place, and we hope to go back someday.

The warmth of the hosts, Christine and Christof, made the difference. They personalised our stay from the minute we made our booking. I could sense their eagerness to make our stay perfect, and they made it discreetly and politely with a smile. The Petit Monlot is an amazing property, modern, comfortable and peaceful. It is only minutes from Saint Emilion, surounded by acres of vinyards.
It was perfect. It exceeded our expectations.

This is easily one of the best accommodations I have enjoyed anywhere in the world. Stunningly beautiful surroundings amongst the vineyards just outside of St Emillion town, a modern and elegant guesthouse with a super comfortable and functional bedroom and a great bathroom. Our hosts, Christine & Christophe, were so welcoming & made our experience so much richer. After 3 1/2 weeks “on the road” in Europe, it was a happy accident that we found ourselves to be the only guests over the 2 nights we stayed, so we had the run of the whole guest house (including kitchen & common areas). We could not have enjoyed this more - a highlight of our holiday.

Petit Monlot is amazing. It's located in the vineyards just outside St-Emilion and down the road from the winery Château Monlot, a stunningly beautiful spot. The guest house is tastefully decorated and the beds super comfortable. The very best part about staying at Petit Monlot is the host couple. They are warm and friendly, serve an exceptional breakfast fresh from the local markets, and are over the top helpful in every possible way. They know everyone in the area and can help with winery appointments, bicycle rentals, insider tips on activities, restaurant choices, the best wines, history and local culture, private tours, great views, local festivals and events, and really anything you might want or need. I had a wonderful visit and can't wait to come back. I highly recommend Petit Monlot as one of the best places to stay in France.
I found no shortcomings of any kind.

The 2 days we spent in Saint Emilion was the best of our Spain/France trip, and Petit Monlot was a HUGE part of that. Gorgeous little chateau with the most amazing and welcoming staff. We felt like royalty! The views and mood were amazing. The town was something from a fairy tale and the staff gave us recommendations (climb the clock tower) which made it that much more special. Perfect! Just perfect!
It was perfect!

Nice and quiet location surrounded by vineyards, amazing little guesthouse and very private service. The place and rooms with facilities all top notch with high quality in everything starting with beddings to wine glasses. Breakfast served by Christine and Christophe who makes this place even better that I cannot describe. Their personality, service and smile makes this place 5+ star. They put their heart and soul into this and make your stay very cozy. I originally came for 2 nights which I extended thanks to the lovely area and their kindess. You will not find this in any 5* hotel, because its so special. Do not look for more just book it and you will see what I am talking about. Thanks Christine & Christophe making my stay unforgettable!!!
