GPS took me off route, so I had a difficult time finding the hotel. When I called the hotel for directions, no one answered. I ended up calling a friend who had lived in Joplin, and he told me the exit to take. You may want to contact Google Maps and ensure that your location is on their map. I kept getting routed to a rest stop.

We were traveling through, and wanted a place to sleep. This Microtel was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! Comfortable. Quiet. We even watched a movie with NO COMMERCIALS!!! Simple breakfast provided. Refrigerator for our picnic cooler and ice available. WiFi worked. Absolutely the best overnight of our trip and it was the lowest priced. And did I say, CLEAN? Not one wisp of a funky smell anywhere. The bathroom, tub and shower were immaculate. The room was carpeted, and the carpet was CLEAN. Run by a family, I think. Pleasant people.

Walls pretty thin outside noise in hallways in morning was very distinct but we had to get up eventually so not a huge deal

I've been charged twice for my room.. once by booking and then by the motel I need compensation

Something was leaking and the carpet was wet between the beds. We asked for towels to soak it up. No big deal.
