We stayed here for a week and overall had a really good experience. The hotel itself is simple but has a lot of soul. The breakfasts made by Wayan and his wife were absolutely delicious! It truly felt like staying at a friend’s home rather than a hotel — so warm and welcoming. The property is lovely — green and well-kept. Having morning coffee on the terrace, surrounded by birdsong, was a real highlight and definitely worth coming here for a couple of days. The location is not in the center of Ubud, which for us was actually a plus — it’s peaceful and quiet without the crowds. There’s also a great little local stall on the corner with amazing tofu in peanut sauce — definitely try it! If you rent a scooter or use Grab, getting around is no problem at all. The rooms are basic, nothing fancy. For the price, it’s totally fine. That said, some renovations wouldn’t hurt. From what I understood, they are working on it gradually, so I hope it all goes well for them. If you’re looking for a place with a relaxed vibe and great breakfasts — this is it.

The room is part of a larger family compound with other people staying long term and short term. Each room, particularly on the outside is beautiful with a beautiful seating area surrounded by plants and winding pathways. When I left, the owner helped me use my car finding app until we found someone that felt right. He was kind and watchful. He was willing to make the simple breakfast that fit my dietary needs. I really like this area of town. Lots of locals live here, not touristy. The night food on the corner was so good and so cheap, as well. The AC/ Fan unit worked well and the internet worked well. The bed was just the right amount of firmness.

This isnt a place that provides water to the people who stay. I feel badly buying so many water bottles. The rooms on the inside are very simple. I am fine with that and it encourages hanging out on the front patio that each room has. But if someone is looking for the inside of the room to feel higher end, this is isn't the place.

The owner of this guesthouse, Wayan, is just a lovely human being. Having a massive front porch, all decorated in traditional Balinese style, was a true experience unto itself -- I truly could not believe all of this was mine! The facility is simply gorgeous, clean, quiet, and truly a great find.

While the outside of the room is jawdropping, the inside is rather sparse and plain, and had a bit of a strange smell -- I hope it's from the cleaning products.

The guest house really looks better than the pictures, the inner garden is beautiful and private, with well maintained greenery. I felt like royalty in this small little paradise, i did not expect it to be so pretty. Besides the gorgeous traditional style house architecture there were beautiful trees, plants and flowers, koi fish and even the family's dog, which was very calm and quiet and was not bothering anyone. The host was very welcoming, the whole family was, including the daughters. The breakfast was served on your own private patio, at your preferred time, with your choice of beverage. The owners were very helpful in giving directions and finding places, even helping out with diverse necessities one needs. The area was quieter than others, and inspired peacefulness, respect and gentleness. If i ever go back to that area i will definitely chose this family owned guest house again!

The bathroom was not the best but that is how all the toilets in bali are, so you cannot really fault the owner.

The property is gorgeous! You can see the owners take care of it, and you could spend hours just staring at the details of each building. Keep in mind this is a budget friendly place, but it has a lot of character you won't find on fancy resorts. With this mindset you'll enjoy your stay. Location was about 10-15 min drive from the centre of Ubud (arts market), in a quiet street. Breakfast was delicious (omelet one day, pancake another). Hot water, AC and WiFi worked just fine.

We heard something running on our ceiling, but wasn't sure if it was monkey or mice. It only happened twice, for like 5 secs or so, so no big deal. From the ad pictures I thought the hotel had a swimming pool, but couldn't find it. Not a deal breaker, as we didn't need.

This was an overwhelming moment when we saw the place, built in the traditional balinease way with own family temple, goy pond and a lovely, wonderful garden!! There ist so much love and respect in there! Also our rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, we slept wonderful. The freshly prepared breakfast was so tasty and served on our own terrasse! The family treated us as with so much passion and interest, we felt as if we were relatives coming to visit!

There was nothing to criticize!

What a beautiful way to start our Bali trip. The grounds are gorgeous and so picturesque. Great value for money and definitely clean. The staff were so kind and friendly, we had a late flight and the host stayed up till 11:30 pm for us. The breakfast was lovely- we had jam on toast, tea and local fruits. Very central location, I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, not in the centre of Ubud but near to it. Very friendly and helpful host. Beautiful surroudnings in the guest house. Great price to quality ratio. Good and various breakfast. Highly recommend!

Great price to quality ratio, but you need to be prepared for ocassional bugs or lizards in the house because of the tropical surroundings.

We stayed here two nights to be close to wood school Bali where the kid was joining camp. But the experience turned out be much beyond the expectation. This house was designed as local architecture which you can enjoy different garden views every step you move. The host was so nice and helpful, even offering us with local food. It's also a good value for long stay. Highly recommend to people who want to experience local house.

Wayan, along with his wife and daughters, treated me as if I was part of the family. The kindness and generosity they displayed was simply outstanding. Not only were they always attentive to my needs ; they also kept going the extra mile while keeping a beautiful smile, in order to make sure I had the best possible vacation. In addition, the breakfast was simple, yet always very yummy ! ... a real treat to be able to enjoy every morning while seated on your own porch, in the middle of this gorgeous surrounding.
