The hotel is in a quiet area close to the port of Souvala, lots of taverns and cafés and a supermarket. The hotel has two swimming pools, all facilities are in good order and are comfortable and pleasant to use. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxed and slow vacation, either you use the hotel as a base to explore the island or to relax next to the pool. The hotel is located close to a nice mountain hiking route to the monastery and archaeological site (4 km to the top, elevation 210 m), which was a nice addition to the stay in the area. It is better to have a car to explore the island. If you don't have one upon arrival, the hotel owner can arrange the car rental to be delivered to the hotel.

We booked an additional day as our previous accommodation was not great. This was arranged easily and our original room cleaned early so we could get in. Super staff. Great pool. Delicious restaurant. Lovely village with great bars and tavernas. Fishing trip arranged but owner was great (if very expensive).

We got bitten here more than anymore else, but probably because of all the lovely vegetation.

The breakfast was nice, the location is excellent a 5min walk into town.

I can’t find any fault with the hotel or location. The manager and staff are so helpful.

Totally exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend to stay here. Owners are lovely and friendly, but leave you alone when necessary and help when you ask for it! One massive bonus was the water pressure and hot water! Sometimes this can be hit and miss with holiday accommodation- I would gladly stay here again!

Absolutely nothing, 10/10

Lovely quaint family run hotel in a quiet location. The pool was lovely and roooms very spacious and good value. Loved the memory foam topped bed which gave us good nights sleep. Its only a 2 to 3 minute walk from the village. The village is a real gem and a true nearly untouched greek fishing village with a handful of restaurants all serving traditional food. Not a tourist trap. We hired bikes, which the hotel arranged to be dropped off for us, and toured the island. We discovered the best beaches this way which can't be reached otherwise.

The local beach is not organized and quite small. But the hotel pool made up for it, and getting the bikes gave us the freedom to get to other beaches.

The staff were amazing and so friendly. The location is a 5-10 minutes walk from such a lovely vibrant port with plenty of restaurants and bars. Due to the size of the property there was no over crowding and plenty of space pool side.

Nothing. Normally I would say mosquitoes but the hotel provide a repellent plug which worked well (Usually doesnt help me)

Satisfactory, but perhaps there could have been a bit more variety on a daily basis. The same breakfasts were put out for the four mornings we were at the hotel

There was a kettle in the room but only two random tea bags, that looked as if they'd been there a long time. It's a good job I'd got my own tea and coffee. Only two sachets of shampoo when we arrived these were not replenished until we asked for more.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and lanch and the personell was very kind. The location is very quite, close to port of Souvala and there is a private parking available. If I visit AEGINA again in the future, I' ll stay to the "ela mesa" Hotel for sure.

Location is 10 minute walk into Souvala. The little harbour with Supermarket, Bakery and tavernas and restaurants and bars. High season the ferry ports,there too . Breakfast lovely. You were made very welcome by the hosts. ..

Wifi was a bit temperamental.

Very charming property a little way up the hill and less than 10 minutes walk from the town beach. Very clean and comfortable room with a nice breakfast included. Staff are very pleasant, including the lovely Emma, who was very cheerful and was even available to provide a great massage service in our room.
