Lets start by order, Reception and staff: easy and smooth check in, Valet for your car, the staff speak english very well. We faced a minor inconvenience on our first night where an insect got in from the trees around our room we called the front desk and they immediately got to our room and helped get rid of it and they offered to change our room and upgraded it to Seaview room (special thanks to the nightshift front desk workers on july.21 (ali and semet?(not really sure of his name but he was extra helpful)) Room: very big and with a small balcony. The beds are comfy and wide we had two twin beds. The bathroom is huge and very clean with both a bathtub and a shower. Food: the buffet in all meals (breakfast,lunch and dinner) was very diverse and delicious, also the food presentation was extra-nice. The waiting staff were very attentive and quick. We never even bothered to try the other restaurants in the island because the main one was just as good. Pools and beaches: they had two main pools, two decks (one is adults only with mobile free zone )and at least to beaches. Ordering drinks and snacks couldn’t be easier (you scan a QR code and order from the website). Towels were readily available and unlimited. Sunbeds are everywhere you would always find ones by the view (no need to reserve). Entertainments: Everyday there’s sports activities during the day like volleyball,yoga,pilates. For the night activities I loved the time-machine concert (a band that covered classic rock songs)

- The spa: we were told that we can use the spa facilities for free but massages and etc are for a charge, when I went to check the spa out, i was told that for using the facilities of the spa there’s a 10 euro fee per guest (didn’t like this inconsistency between the staff) - The Ironing service: there’s no Iron in the room but I have to say that there is an ironing service where you ask the guest relations to take your clothes and they send them back ironed however it takes an hour, I sometimes needed a quick fix before going out and for that I would recommend offering the guest and iron to the room for those who ask for it.

The soft drinks (juices) could be significantly improved, given all the fruits available a fresh juice/smoothie service would have made our stay even more memorable, specially in the afternoon in the beaches and pools

I recently spent a week at Xanadu Island, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The location is breathtaking — nestled on a private peninsula with panoramic sea views that never get old. The atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-appointed, with beautiful views and all the amenities you could need. The food was another highlight. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the variety and quality were consistently impressive. From international dishes to local specialties, everything was fresh and delicious. My special thanks to Agit and Abdurrahman at Archipelago pool bar, and Mucahit, Serkan, Elif and Nesligul at main restaurant. I also would like to thank to all food & bevarage staff on behalf of Mutlu chef. I highly recommend Xanadu Island to anyone looking for a serene and luxurious holiday experience. We left with great memories and would definitely love to return!

Excellent experience for me and my family. The stay was remarkably comfortable. You just don’t need to go out of the hotel for anything as they provide everything you need to be relaxed.

Xanadu Island Hotel truly offers a luxurious and tranquil escape in a breathtaking setting. The location is incredible—secluded and peaceful, with panoramic views of the sea that are simply unforgettable. The private beaches are clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxing or taking a refreshing swim. One of the standout features for me was the room. Spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean, with one of the best hotel bathrooms I’ve ever seen—modern, well-designed, and stocked with everything you could need. Waking up to the sea view each morning was an experience in itself. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Their warmth and hospitality added a very personal touch and made the whole experience feel special.

I was disappointed with the bar service and drink quality. Orders were occasionally mixed up or delayed, and some of the cocktails were poorly made—undrinkable, in fact. The sparkling wine was especially bad and not up to the standard you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. It’s an area that really stood out in contrast to the otherwise high-quality experience. Overall, despite the bar shortcomings, Xanadu Island is a stunning resort with much to offer. I would absolutely return for the location, views, incredible rooms, and top-notch staff—but I do hope they improve their bar offerings in the future.

• very special location! You have the whole island to explore, stunning seaviews, magic sunsets. • elegance suite room has a nice balcony to watch sunrise and sunsets, and my personal favourite feature is the window in the bathroom. You can take a shower while watching sunset. • Turkish tea and Turkish desserts (mousse) were outstanding • private beaches, many options, including sand beach for kids. • good shows at night. • we were given 1st floor elegance suit, I requested initially a lower floor, hopefully it felt like the room didn’t match the pictures , and I asked to change to a top floor. When we were shown the top floor room, it looked smaller and less appealing with the child. We decided to stay in the initial room. Elegance suit room is good for big families. 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom. • 180€ for airport transfer, but worth it.

• only 1 main restaurant. On top a few bars (not restaurants), and 2 a la cart restaurants (Mexican and Italian) which weren’t great, especially Italian. A la cart booking system is weird. • lack of food options for people with diet requirements, for example gluten free or dairy free. • local wine not great. • unconvieniet food system - you can only order certain food in 1 place and specific hours only. Let’s kids menu is only available for lunch. Ice cream only 3-5 pm. • mini disco the same time as the main show, while being far away, impossible to attend both. • staff often don’t speak English , harder to explain things sometimes. • card payments not working. Only cash.

Very nice location on a private peninsula, there’s sea on 3 sides and 4 places to swim. The sea is a little cold but exceptionally clean, one could see the seafloor from the surface. Our room was located in a separate 3-story building and had an amazing sea view, it was spacious and clean, minibar and toiletries were replenished daily. Food was overall pretty good, a bit lacking the seafood but otherwise tasty and there were a lot of options for healthy eating. There are also sport exercises 4 times a day. Wi-Fi service is solid across the whole territory of the hotel.

We’ve stayed in the room as 3 people and the optional pull-out sofa bed was uncomfortable. There was a nice mattress but the base itself was crooked and twisted easily. Not a lot of benches around the territory to sit and enjoy the sea. The a-la carte restaurants had delicious food but it was in no means authentic :)

Lovely clean property on spectacular peninsular with views in every direction. All-inclusive worked well - house white and red wines were good and served speedily. Buffet was extensive and mostly excellent quality. Our room (deluxe suite) was really lovely. Staff were smiley and helpful.

The two a la carte restaurants lacked any atmosphere. Food was good but it wasn’t a fun experience. When we arrived we were at first given an ‘upgraded’ romance suite room. It didn’t have any sort of view and we didn’t love the set up in there so we were then given the room we had actually booked which was perfect. We stayed 5 nights - might have gone a bit stir-crazy if there for longer.

The hotel sits on a peninsula and offers great views. The rooms are large enough to be comfortable, the bathrooms are very big which is great. Don't expect award winning decor in the rooms, but for our purpose they were perfect. The buffet offered a good variety and the food was of a high quality. Both swimming pools are lovely and the ocean swimming area is safe and nice for snorkelling. The staff were friendly and most spoke enough English to get by.

The pools are surrounded by paving and there aren't many trees so it gets very hot and exposed by the afternoon. The kids club was okay but a little underwhelming, my kids weren't overly excited by it and the activities. They also have a nice jungle gym in the shade but they wouldn't let the kids climb on it unaccompanied which is a bit strange. If you stay in the main building the live music in the evening by the pool will bother you if you want to go to bed before 11pm. Bodrum has many resorts and for the price one might find better options if you're willing to spend a little more.

We were really in need of a completely restful break and that was exactly what we got. Xanadu has so much space, nothing feels crowded and you can always find a lovely spot to sunbathe or watch the sunset. Everyone at Xanadu was so helpful and keen to make sure you have everything you want. I was very impressed with the range of food and drinks on the all inclusive menu and being able to scan a QR code and have drinks delivered to your table was great. Our suite was also lovely, one of the nicest rooms we’ve had on a holiday and great to have a minibar included. Being able to WhatsApp if there is anything that needs restocking is another great service and the wifi was excellent too. There was so much to love, even the lovely atmosphere created by the other families there. We’d love to go back.

There is nothing not to love. The only thing to note is that there is nothing nearby, Bodrum is about 45 mins in a taxi. It didn’t bother us but if you like to leave the resort it’s something to keep in mind.
