The staff were great. Couldn't have been more helpful

It wasn't the best location but a short taxi ride took us to where we wanted to go.

I liked the location of the hotel.

The reception. We reached there on 22nd June2024 at 730 pm after a long train journey from Xian. The girl at the reception desk was just hopeless. She didn't speak a word of English, refused to look at the dictionary that we used to communicate and just kept giving us a blank and stony stare. It was raining heavily, we're expecting another friend to join us the next day, and most importantly, it was around 9 pm by that time. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure, we would've simply gone out to scour for another hotel that day. There wasn't anyone to help us with our luggage or even to show us to our room. From next morning, ie, 23rd June, onwards our experiences were better though with Rebecca Hu at the reception. Sincerely, it was only for her, that we stayed at the hotel. Honestly speaking, I still have trauma from my experiences with the first girl at the reception.

The bed was very comfy, the AC was nice and cold, and I appreciated the daily water. There is also a Family Mart attached to the building which was convenient for snacks.

the location was far from public transport and the breakfast was not suitable for foreigners. the international items was a little limited for us. but there was a small supermarket (family mart) near the hotel could be use by guests with a very good and kind staff.

1. The facility smells bad, the room smells like someone smoked in it and it also smell moldy. Since I get in the hotel, my allergy start kicking in with itchy eyes and running nose. 2. There is no restaurant near by, had to get food online . The staff pointed to a direction and I walked 1 km and still didn’t find anything. There is a small grocery store near the hotel though. If you are not familiar with China’s system. Definitely not your choice. 3. I have been staying in many other holiday inn express hotels, the breakfast is not as great as other places. 4. This is definitely one of the last one I would recommend.
