Everything was excellent from the hosts to the facilities and location! This wonderful Posada has been recently refurbished in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The two hosts were very professional, efficient and friendly at the same time! They managed everything impeccably! The room was spotless with daily housekeeping. The breakfast was fabulous and the only diner we had at the Posada too! The communal library area and outside spaces are well thought! Thanks again for the stay!

The room we had, Palmeras, was wonderful, the breakfast with fresh eggs was excellent and the owners were extremely helpful with sight and restaurant suggestions. Posada Seis Leguas easily exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for touring Cantabria. With a car day trips were plentiful, easy and relaxed. We ate at restaurants recommended by Juan and Sandra and had some of our best meals in Spain in those restaurants. The hotel and grounds are quiet, with many places to sit and relax. Our hope is to one day be able to return to this beautiful posada.

This is such a beautiful property and such wonderful people that I can only say positive things about it. My only disappointment was that the weather was too cold and rainy to enjoy the swimming pool. That means we must return when the weather is warmer!

Great atmosphere and style inside this beautiful charming, small-scale hotel. Sandra and her husband are great hosts. Rooms have enough space and decorated with great care. You feel at home inmediately. Enjoyed a nice dinner in the accommodation! Swimming pool, jacuzzi.

We loved coming back every afternoon after a long hike or walking all day exploring the towns of Cantabria to a nice soak in the jacuzzi.

Beautiful building with very stylish and chic interior decor located in an amazing old village. Perfect for a stopover in a quiet place surrounded by mountains and trees with a river and a walking green path nearby. Juan was the best host ever, very helpful and polite. Breakfast was 10/10.

A beautiful property with great attention to detail. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches. Spotlessly clean in all areas. Relaxing outside seating areas. Very comfortable bed. Friendly hosts who both speak English. Lovely tasty breakfast with plenty of choices. Excellent location near the motorway but feels very rural and peaceful. Very good value for money

We liked everything

Really nice location and in walking distance to the nearby town that had a wider choice of eating venues. The facilities at the hotel were really good and it would be a nice place to stay and relax for a few days

Our stay coincided with a regional holiday which meant that the only place available to eat was Macdonalds! Not the fault of the hotel but we would have preferred to have been advised in advance. Also, there were other guests staying at the hotel that had their dinner cooked for them. We were advised that this was not an option available to us?!

Beautiful house, furnished with the best taste. Great welcome by owners. The village is small, but authentic and well kept.

It was our second stay here. And again so good. You can’t ask for more. It’s a small family owned hotel. Wonderful place to stay. Super cosy with a comfortable bed. Every little detail is well made. We felt very welcome. Sandra and Juan are the friendliest hosts you can imagine. The breakfast is perfect. We will be back soon.
