An absolutely fantastic place to relax and unwind with family. A stunningly stylish space where every detail is perfectly thought out. Very cozy, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It’s truly a place made for total rest and relaxation. The surrounding nature is beautiful and there is an incredibly charming village nearby. I’ve never seen anything like it in Spain, only in Tuscany. I didn’t expect to discover such a village here

The only downside was that at 8 in the morning, workers across the property started drilling, which felt a bit too early. It would have been nicer if they started at 9, especially in such a relaxing place where you want to sleep in. Also, the mattress wasn’t very comfortable.

Our second stay in Sep 2023. A different room this time - outside the main building. Not as good as our previous room but to be expected as a little older I suspect. Great location for Santander and the beautiful town of Santillana del Mar. Great hospitality, lovely breakfasts, tranquil location in quiet countryside location off the beaten track. Superb gardens. Very Dog friendly which is a bonus for us.

The only thing that could have enhanced our stay would have been fluffy towels - but not a priority as the room was really clean and comfortable.

Great stay even if it was just for a night. The room was comfortable, modern and clean. Breakfast the next day was also wonderful and the lady who served it was very friendly. Beautiful property! Definitely recommend staying here. :)

Some ants in the room and a slight musty smell from the drainage. But that’s minor.

Outside of the town and very peaceful the gardens around the house are beautiful. Our ground floor room was spacious and the bed very comfortable with nice linen. Breakfast was great and our host charming. A great stay.

The location was beautiful, very close to the centre of Santillana del Mar. The room was also very nice and clean, huge bed and nice modern bathroom. Secure place to park.

It was a last minute booking and we arrived with a small dog. It costed us an extra 15€ to check the dog in. It was a bit surprising as we stayed in various hotels during our road trip in Cantabria and no other hotel/private host charged us extra for our pet.

The room is very good, as are the beds. The garden of the estate is beautiful, and it's an easy 20min stroll to Santilla del Mar.

We would have liked a bit more personal contact with the hosts: we only saw the host during check-in.

Garden, pool area, the animals and the location were all great. Very close to the unbelievably pretty town of Santillana, but in a quiet, secluded spot with lovely gardens outside of the town.

Pool was muddy. You wouldn't put a foot in it..otherwise amazing

Our room was excellently located on the ground floor (we brought our dog with us). Everything was excellent and we look forward to staying again on the 27/28 September.
