The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The bus stopped right outside, and we entered the hotel to find it packed with antique furnishings and artwork- a museum indeed! The room and the bed were comfortable. and there was a library and living room on our floor, with lovely old furnishings. The bar downstairs had a good beer selection, and there were tables and umbrellas to enjoy a drink outside. Everything was in close walking distance, and the town absolutely charming!

No elevator but as we were on the first floor no big problem- might be for those on the second floor.

The hotel was almost like a small museum. Friendly, charming, centrally located, quiet, and relaxed with a magical atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and gave excellent advice about parking, attractions and things to see. The beds were comfortable, the cleanliness was superb, and we could watch Spain win the European Championship on the hotel TV :-). We enjoyed a couple of great chill-out afternoons outside the hotel with some travel planning, good beer, and friendly serving staff. The breakfast was fantastic, lacking absolutely nothing. The internet worked well, and the kids were happy.

Very few things needs to be changed to make a stay at the hotel perfect. I have absolutely nothing to add and nothing I did not like about the hotel.

Convenient location on the main street. Top floor suite which had a nice balcony overlooking the street. No parking on-site but there is a pay space across the road and free parking elsewhere, very close. Easy walk into the centre of the historic town of Santillana del Mar. Easy access (30min) to Santander's port. Breakfast was very good value and had a wide choice of buffet style food. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The hotel is literally a museum, full of old antique furniture, clocks, paintings, sculptures etc. In fact I would say a little TOO full - the hallways and communal rooms seemed a little 'over-furnished'.. Room was a good size but had been smoked in (I thought I had specified a non-smoking room) but otherwise ideal for an overnight stop.

This hotel is a unique place to stay in the heart of Santillana. It is like stepping back in time, old-world in style, beautiful sitting rooms to relax in, which were furnished with amazing antiques, paintings, clocks, lamps, etc.. The bedrooms were very comfortable, with small shuttered veranda where there were views of the nearby gardens. Very peaceful. The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast there so I can't comment on it but the option is there and I understand it is good value. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. Santillana is so lovely and I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

The hotel looks amazing from the outside. It is a beautiful old stone building with a pretty garden. Inside is very inviting - it is full of character with antique furniture and pictures and lots of different rooms to sit in. Everything is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and tried several homemade local special items. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for exploring the very attractive village of Santillana del Mar.

The property was very very clean, it was beautifully decorated with old clocks, paintings, and older worlde furniture. Breakfast had everything you could ever want.

We were room 209. 2011 next door sounded like they were right inside the room with. us. Paper thin walls where conversation is easily heard. So not very private. Tv and music also heard loudly in the corridor. Not sure if all rooms are so badly insulated against noise.

The staff was very helpful in so many ways. I had sent a package ahead of my arrival and they sent me a txt once it had arrived. They were supportive and flexible when I had to change my dates, twice. Fernando was especially helpful, delightful, and his English is impeccable. He also located a box and some tape so I could mail a package. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and even fried eggs!

Hotel Museo Los Infantes with Fernando at the front desk gave us an exceptionally warm welcome. The hotel is definitely museum quality with many many lovely pieces of art and decoration. Pride of presentation is everywhere. The bedrooms are large and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever encountered in a hotel. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The price is incredible. The location is perfect and just a short block to the main sightseeing street. Santillana del Mar is charming. Do visit the Colegiata Church de Santa Juliana. Also recommended was the museum containing many sculptures by native son Jesus Otero.

Nada - Everything was outstanding.

The hotel is in the perfect location to explore the old town, with parking directly opposite. The hotel, rooms and furnishing is of a classical standard in keeping with its history but are not tired or worn out. Cleanliness and standards were high and the buffet breakfast was really comprehensive and supplemented with freshly cooked items to order - well worth the money. Staff were friendly, well informed, helpful and bilingual which really topped off a great experience.

The staff are exceptionally friendly & efficient. We parked in a nearby car park, arrived around 5pm, left around 11am the following day it cost €3 and is a 2 minute walk away from this lovely hotel. The decor is very grand, and it's spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast had everything you could possibly want! The location is perfect, right at the entrance to this unique and pretty village.our room had huge comfy beds, extra pillows, a great shower and bath tub. We'll definitely return.
