This hotel is almost the last house in town, so away from the crowds, It's already on the famous Camino de Santiago if you're planning to walk. It's a country house in the old style, beautifully renovated, and the room was truly charming, with a fabuulous view from the juliette bacony out over a working farm and fields and down over the rooftop of the medieval town. We much appreciated the kettle to make tea and the bottle of water.

It was difficult to get accurate local information which we needed quickly since we were only staying one night. Music played at breakfast is just not acceptable in our case. It turns a genuine experience into kitsch and a bit of that lurked in the outside decor. Better to breakfast in the town. It would have been good had the (partner?) hotel and restaurant up the road had welcomed us for a meal instead of instantly declaring they were closed. Closed midday on Friday?

The room was large (on the top floor) and the host provided several thoughtful extras. The breakfast was 4.50 Euros per person and it was about what one would expect for the price. My wife loved the coffee.

The WIFI signal didn't appear to reach our room. We logged in but didn't get any benefit. My wife had to take care getting out of bed owing to the sloping ceiling on her side.

The bed and pillows were very comfy, the view is great, you can see the hill and the horses going about it :) the location is very convenient too, just 2 min walk to the main square. Also the parking is a great plus, is just on the side to the property and it is reserved for the hotel's guests (free of charge). We were very happy about it since we came to Santillana del Mar by car. I would suggest this hotel for sure!

You can hear almost everything from the other rooms that are close to yours or from the ceiling. It was not a big issue for us, but I guess it is not convenient for someone who wants total privacy and no noises.

The view and location were insanely beautiful. The bedroom was clean, cosy and a good size. The bed was comfy and I had my best night's sleep here. I loved sitting on the balcony gazing into the hills.

My friends found a centipede in their bathroom. Unideal! They evacuated the little guy but perhaps the room could have been checked more thoroughly.

Nice, clean room with warm, comfy bed. Complimentary chocolates in the room, thank you, perfect for St Valentine! And a complimentary coffee when we arrived. Very attentive staff. Lovely stay, and just 3 minutes up the hill from the heart of Santillana.

Location was great - a 2 min walk from the village on a pedestrian street. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good value compared to the other options that were available we we booked and free parking

Room and double bed were a little on the small side but perfectly adequate for a short stay

The beautiful location and the building itself is very pretty. The property is a very short walk from the centre of the old town which is medieval and very much worth seeing.

Beautiful place and only a short walk into historic centre of Santillana. Room and bathroom clean and bright.

Room was on the small side and we did feel it was slightly overpriced, particularly as no view.

Ideal for visit, friendly efficient check in clean comfortable room with all you needed.

Comfortable hotel in a great location close to the historic village. Lovely room, spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Staff were excellent. Private parking available a short walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend
