Fabulous! Everything about it. As beautiful as Santillana is, it's too touristy for me but we we're starting our next section of the CAMINO DEL NORTE from the town. The location is great, the building is beautiful, the room was fabulous AND as for the breakfast (Included) I wish I had 3 stomachs, there was SO MUCH wonderful choice, amd the price was incredible. In my own stupidity I left a pair of sandals at the hotel, I only realised when I arrived at Comillas. I rang the hotel and they offered to drive over to COMILLAS with them, which I couldn't let them do, and will collect them when I return to the area in May, awesome awesome people running a fabulous hotel!!

It's a very nice play to stay. Cozy with few rooms. free parking at both sides of the house. Aracely the front desk lady went above and beyond to help us and make sure our night stay was perfect. Its a old house so bedrooms and bathrooms are not very large but they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and is GREAT, with a lot of options and all fresh and very tasty. It reminded me of my Spanish granny cooking. Gracias Aracely por tu especial atencion y los consejos que nos diste de como llegar a los Lagos de Covadonga! We love it!

As an old house it smelled a little musty and our girls didn't like it very much but overall it was a good stay.

Very reasonable for the quality and good service. Hax a pretty room, comfortable bed and lots of space. I looked at the 4-star hotel in town and it had the same decor/finishes. I liked the location, just 1/4 block away from the main tourist area, which is busy at night. Breakfast was good! In the plaza where this is, there's a town park, laundromat, groceries, farmacia and se eral restaurants.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, friendly staff, perfect location very close to the historic little town with lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice from cooked bacon and eggs, bread, croissants, cakes, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurts, juices and tea/coffee. Lovely large bedroom with massage bath as well as en-suite with huge power shower.

Comfortable bed, clean room, nice staff, nice atmosphere. Just outside the center of Santillana.

While the atmosphere is nice the room are not isolated therefore you can hear everything from other rooms and corridors. Bathroom is old. It was not a problem for us but person at the reception did not speak english.

Location was great as was breakfast. Excellent orange juice! Room was larger than usual even though it was a triple room. Staff made everything possible to make us feel at home and gave us plenty of information. They even drove us to the Neocueva because the taxi would take too long, that is great service!!!

I was there to go to the Altamira Cave/museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What I didn't expect was the wonderful mediaeval town. It was a 2 minute walk filled with antiquity and places to eat. The staff person who check me in was wonderful and made me feel right at home. The parking around the side was easy to access with a free garage close by if the on site parking was full. The room was large and clean.

The walls were thin so I could hear noise from the family upstairs.

lovely atmospheric old building near the old town. staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast exceptionally good. Best of our trip. Generous buffet with good quality jamon, cheese and tortilla. Also wonderful array of cakes and croissants, fresh orange juice and excellent coffee.

We have been here before on our way to the ferry back to the UK. We liked it so much we decided to return again. Love the quiet peaceful location, the staff, easy to park at the back of the hotel. Good value for money. Fab room (104)

Fantastic location, beautiful room, great staff and a terrific price! It was perfect place to stay to participante in the magnificent Tres Reyes Epiphany festival and enjoy this wonderful Spanish medieval village, people and cuisine!
