Clean, comfortable, cosy environment - with beautiful artworks throughout the building - photograph on our wall especially enchanting. Proximity to the medieval village facilitated a delightful afternoon's walk . Breakfast was available but I cant comment as we didn' take advantage of this offer. The local design repro furniture gives a real feel of Don Quixote Spain with pony rides for children in the village nearby and plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants. Parking was good despite length of our car, and we were kindly provided with water for its tank!The owner's English was limited as was my Spanish, but communication was easy.

The room we were provided with was excellent. However, it was immediately next to the reception desk which was slightly inhibiting, also I was kept awake by a washing machine in the garage next to our wall. Nevertheless, overall our ultimo dia in Spain was great.

Everything. We were made very welcome when we arrived. Coral was cheerful, helpful and efficient and showed us the best place for our motorcycle. The room was lovely, very clean and well appointed. The garden was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone. It actually deserves a rating of 11 !!!

Lovely quiet small hotel with a beautiful garden. Supermarket and restaurants just opposite but only a short stroll into Santillana. Its also very easy to walk to Altamira from here. We did a lovely circular walk after our Altamira visit, through lovely countryside back to the hotel, just 4k.

The pilot light for the emergency lighting is a very bright green, I had to cover it as it kept me awake

The accommodation was beautiful and everything was exactly as we expected from description and photographs. This family run posada is a gem because it is just outside of the main village but close enough to walk. Great car parking facilities too! Having a kettle and fridge in the room was very good 👍 lovely hosts who speak only a little English , we wish we spoke more Spanish.

Good location just on the edge of town, very comfortable spotlessly clean room with an outside seating area, very helpful host who provided me with an umbrella on arrival, gave us tickets for the caves and gave us restaurant recommendations - Gran Duque was excellent - don't go anywhere else!

Hotel is very near of all you want to see in Santillana Del Mar. Room itself is quite good for one person - one thing I hope would go better for other visitors - sloping roof with rustic wooden beams are guaranteed harder than my head - three hits. I was very happy to stay there.

So clean and equipped very very nice. Wonderful staff, a really pleasant stay A shower to die for and a bed you needed a bus to get from one side to the other. Subdued lights very grand. Setting of the hotel is really lovely, well kept garden and very near to old town but plenty of bars nearby. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Kettle for tea/coffee making but no cups, no milk and no coffee . Could have asked but no problem to get coffee elsewhere.

The guesthouse is close to everything. The service is excellent, with great kindness and attention. My room was very spacious and had all the resources to facilitate my well-being. The breakfast provided contains what is necessary and may have gluten-free options if this is indicated at the reception. Parking is very safe.

Exactly how a Posada should be run. Super friendly staff, immaculately clean, quiet at night, located on the elegant edges of this picturesque town with many excellent restaurants. We only stayed a night as we were passing by on our journey, but will return to use Posada Araceli as a base to explore this amazing area. Highly recommended..
