Really lovely building, felt very authentic. The pool was an added bonus. The room was big and had good facilities, the bed was very comfortable. Was a stone's throw from Santillana del mar, just outside of the village with parking. The breakfast for 10 euro was really good, you really got you're money's worth. Would really recommend this hotel, exceptional value for money. Staff were really nice and it's easy to visit surrounding towns.

Beautiful hotel in peaceful location but very near the town. Comfortable bed and lovely room, all spotless. Good breakfast and attentive staff. Enjoyed the pool.

Came here for good rest after busy two weeks in Picos. Unfortunately we were woken by the people in the room above us returning to their room at 1am on our first night and their alarm woke us up early the second night. Otherwise would have been a perfect stay.

Great location 5 minutes from the main part of the old town but nice and quiet. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The room was a bit dated and basic but it was still good value for what we paid. E.g., there wasn't a refrigerator or tea/coffee facilities and the bathroom was pretty tight.

Location was excellent. Just a short stroll from the town centre. Lovely and peaceful location. Ideal for sitting out surrounded by beautiful countryside and yet so close to the bars and restaurants.

Beautiful classic hotel

The swimming pool wasn’t open yet which was unfortunate as there was a heat wave.

Nice palacio-style building outside Santillana, therefore quiet, no street noises. Comfortable beds, clean room, good size of the room. Breakfast was not buffet-style, but ok; unimaginative pastries (seems to be standard in this part of Spain). Village with sights and restaurants within walking distance (5 to 10 minutes). Free parking.

Booked this hotel as it had free parking and was in a quite location. Couldn't fault anything such a lovely comfortable stay. Pool looked inviting but didn't use it and you could purchase a bathing cap for €2 which was a pool required to wear. We purchase breakfast which was lovely and plentiful for €7. Can highly recommend this hotel and only 40mins from the Santander ferry port.

This is a beautiful and tranquil hotel a short walk from the old town. The staff were helpful and attentive ant the room, whilst not big, was airy and light. There is a little pool behind the hotel which was clean and a terrace which was ideal for a quiet coffee or a drink. A great place to stay when visiting Santillana and excellent value for money.

There are no negatives, it was ideal for us.

A calm, peaceful place to explore Santillana, Altemira and the Picos.
