Beautiful hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly especially the lady on reception who went out of her way to help us. Breakfast was lovely. The garden and pool area at the back of the hotel is well kept and really nice with views of the river and over to Serbia. Very large, comfortable bedroom with view of the garden, pool and river. Located centrally between Drobeta-Turnu-Severin and Orsova, had a lovely trip along the Danube from Orsova.

Initially, the location as it is a bit isolated but fine if you have a car as easy to get to Drobeta and Orsova. Also appears a bit industrial due to the power station and dam but once inside, it's so nice, quiet and well looked after, it doesn't matter, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Bathroom - shower tray leaked and needed a bit of shower unblocker and a bit of a tidy up but good size and did the job!

We stayed for one night on our way, so this stop was a really good choice for us. We got a late check in (very friendly man was waiting for us), parking place just in front of the door. The room was comfortable (very comfortable bed), windows overlooking the river. Decent breakfast and very friendly and helpful hotel personnel. We got a pre-warmed room (I saw other earlier comments on the cold room), so in our case this was taken care of , that shows that the hotel is trying to capture comments and improve. Additional point for this.

Location was perfect, close to city center; very clean, parking excellent, very clean and full of facilities, nice welcoming staff, we really appreciate it, for who wants a quite place - this is the perfect place , and for sure we will be back

They had a swimming pool opened for public. The facility is included in the room price. You can pay by credit card at the beach bar.

The location is isolated, near Portile de Fier I. You depend on them 100%. They lack on stuff for serving the meal or drinks by the pool.

Shower in room 6 was good preassure but felt weak under foot

The location overlooking the Danube and the Iron Gate. Beautiful sunset. Excellent place to explore the fantastic scenery along the Danube on both sides of the Valley. Nice Poolside. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had just an overnight stay and travelled the next day over the Iron Gate into Serbia.

The Driveway to the Hotel looks neglected. It runs through an abandoned Fuel Station but it does not affect the location and the quality of the Hotel.

The staff were very friendly, helping and assisting us all the time. The breakfast was excellent. The pool was very good and the water was warm. Sitting in the garden seeing the Danube was a pure delight and very pleasurable, the room was very clean. The reception staff were excellent and very accomadating and extremely helpful.

We arrived late and we did not have a complimentary tray in the room,( kettle biscuits coffee milk). Unable to make cup of tea.

Even it was pre-season, the staff was very friendly. They took good care of our bikes. Rooms been nice and spacious.

Unfortunately there was no dinner or breakfast during the time we were there. It took a little to get the shower warm.
