The breakfast was very good with plenty of options available, we appreciated the diversity. There's a separate restaurant where you can have dinner also. The spa was great with lots of sauna options, some jacuzzies, too bad not all the facilities were working.

It says there is free parking but the parking is too small for the hotel's capacity so when we arrived the parking was full, we had to park on the street outside and pay for parking. It wasn't expensive but it's misleading.

We liked the food and the staff was nice.

The people. The hotel was full of low education people with traditional romanian ways of behaving. The kidshave used the adults pool, the people jumped in the pool and they had their mobile phones and talked on them in the relaxation rooms. Little kids have been using the saunas with their families even if that is prohibited. If you have low standards when in comes to people who you're sharing the hotel and common areas, go there.

The spa area is really nice. Endless pools with mineral water. Probably seven or eight types of saunas, including a Russian-style Hercules sauna with temperatures around 90 to 100 degrees Celsius. There’s plenty of space to sit or lie down and relax. The view from the rooms is also quite good. Overall, a pleasant experience — but don’t expect it to feel like a true four-star hotel.

This hotel is, first and foremost, a spa resort. Most guests come for the spa, not the rooms. The hotel is fairly maintained, but the building is old. Everything works, but don’t expect anything new or modern. The elevator can be a problem, especially during breakfast hours. If your room is on a high floor and stairs are not an option, this might be annoying. Parking is limited. You may need to park a bit away and walk to your car.

The spa facilities were nice, a wet sauna or a steam room would be nice there! The infrared sauna was not much in use. But all the other facilities were good!

They should not allow children below a certain age in the big swimming pool or jacuzzi. As much as I like kids, if you go there to relax and you will have the little ones screaming and jumping around in the pool, that's not relaxing anymore.

Excellent SPA, they have all kind of pools and hot tubs, separate for children, at different temperatures, many inside and one outside, more saunas, relaxing booths and a salt room. In the evening they have entertainers and music at the restaurant. The menu was average. The chef was from Sri Lanka, so be aware, he cooks more spicier than you expect.

They have 3 elevators, but „dumb” ones. They should install a smart controller, so you can indicate your direction and shorten the waiting time. You can't have a couple's massage, I mean in the same time, because they have only one massager per specialty. The parking is small for such a big hotel, we had to park the car in the street.

Bacolux Afrodita in Herculane is a great choice for a relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The spa and wellness facilities are excellent, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the thermal waters. The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes, and the staff were polite and attentive throughout our stay. The location is ideal for exploring Băile Herculane and its natural beauty. Overall, as always, we had a very pleasant experience and we'll always return.

The bed was so comfortable that we went home and bought a new mattress! Also the spa was awesome, lots of sauna options, nice pool, quite a few jacuzzis. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely. The breakfast was good, lots of options and hot food. Seemed to be a popular hotel there were lots of people there.

When we booked it said there was free parking but when we arrived the car park was full and the receptionist told us they only have car parking spaces for 40% of the rooms. So we had to park on the street outside and pay for parking. It wasn't too expensive but it's misleading that free parking was advertised. Also, for such a big hotel there was one functioning elevator so there were constantly queues for it. The decor in the rooms was also a bit dated but the bed was super comfy.

The breakfast was very good, with a lot of alternatives. The room had a mountain view, AC and a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was equipped with everything you need. In the evening they had an event on the hotel's terrace like a 90's disco with DJ. The food was excellent and the party atmosphere was great as well.

The SPA facilities were OK, a couple of the little pools were closed, while the biggest one had cloudy water and not enough chlorine. The parking is private, but finding a free spot can be challenging. The parking is too small for the hotel's capacity.

Very good breakfast, nice and clean room at the 6th floor, with a nice view.

We had dinner at 8:50 pm. At 9:40 pm, we want to order desert. The girl said that they are not taking food orders anymore. We knew that they will close at 10 pm, but we wanted just a pice of cake.I felt really bad, because it was my birthday, my girlfriend had the candle ready. I didn't said nothing though, but people from the restaurant should advise that are closing at 10 pm, and if we want desert we have to order it earlier.

The pools and spa are brilliant. I liked that the chef was welcoming us at breakfast and dinner. All employees were helpful and very nice. The view from the rooms is amazing, you can see the mountains even if the room is on the lower floor.

Only 3 elevators are available, making it very crowded (sometimes waiting time is long), but I guess this is normal as the hotel is quite old (but refurbished)
