The room was very comfortable and the location was excellent. The breakfasts were varied and each was delicious. The guys in the kitchen were the best!

The hotel has a lot of silly nitpicking regulations. No minibars or coffee makers in the room and none available so cold drinks are out. They give you 2 bottles of water in the room but only 1 is free, something I did not know until check out. Is it really necessary to make the guest feel overcharged for something so little? I can easily afford the water but why not up the price a few dollars and make BOTH bottles free. Then the hotel rules say 1 free coffee with 2 free refills. Nope. Only 2 free coffees. So ungracious for the price of a coffee? Good hotels go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. This is not the way.

This hotel is excellent. The grounds were beautiful, the staff were so helpful and kind, the rooms were immaculate, and the food was superb. We never locked anything away and cleaning staff was polite and respectful. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed the location. I loved it!

The beds were a bit too hard for me but the staff brought me softer pillows that made it more comfortable.The lights over the sink and mirror were insufficient for makeup but each room is provided a cute little outdoor seating area so I sat outside to do makeup in the sunlight. I wish there were full length mirrors in the rooms. However, they have a room near the garden that has a mirror and makeup lighting when needed. Id definitely recommend this hotel and gladly return.

Beautiful, fresh breakfast. Nice choices on the menu, generous three cup refill on coffee, etc. Ricardo was more than gracious and smiling. Antonio and Erica at the desk were very friendly and helpful. Antonio made sure we were checked in and comfortable after a twelve hour flight. Excellent staff, meticulously clean and bleached sheets, floors, rooms were spotless every day. I made sure I tipped all your staff. Even the night watchman was friendly and always there to open the door. I would recommend Xtilu to anyone and everyone. Barking dogs in the neighborhood are just part of living in the city. Excellent location overall, easy quick walk to the Zocalo and markets.

Please don’t put expensive bottles of water in the rooms UNLESS customer asks for them. I was billed for multiple bottles of water even though I didn’t ask for any. Bought mine across the street at Farmacia.

I thought the hotel was beautiful and stylish. I loved the artwork, and high ceilings. The staff were absolutely exceptional. They always greeted me warmly and with a smile. I appreciate the free parking because I drove. The location was perfect for seeing all the sights. The included breakfast was a work of art. The best mocha I’ve ever had. My room was spotless. The linen and pillows were soft and sumptuous. I like the glass refillable water bottle. The shower pressure was strong and the water was hot. The towels were soft and thick. I liked the lighting. The housekeeper was quick to clean my room as soon as I left. It was a great value

My bed was very hard. I had my laundry done at the hotel and it was twice what I’ve usually paid in Mexico, but perhaps I was paying for the convenience. My clothes came back folded and fresh, so it wasn’t a big deal to me.

Small clean boutique hotel with nice architecture, great wifi, functioning AC. The breakfast included was good and filling. Very nice and helpful staf....all the way from the front desk, cleaning ladies, waiters, to the guys that opened the doors at night. Clean comfortable linen. Location: Easy 6-8 minute straight walk to the city center.

Stiff/very firm beds, outdated restrooms. While this is a generally quiet hotel, I did find that you could hear barking dogs and airplanes early in the mornings.

Excellent location, very safe (main door is closed to the public, no random person can walk right in), clean (there is always someone cleaning the grounds), and the breakfast is a winner (i had the quiche, eggs roquefort and shakshuka on different days—all excellent)

Wifi at the study would disconnect every after a few mins, no mini fridge in the room. This would have been really useful for chilling down beverage as the day heat outside could be stifling.

The breakfast was magnificent. rooms were spacious and with art. The courtyard was lovely.

The introductory lecture by the receptionist was odd and not correct. We were told we only got one cup of coffee at breakfast, and one piece of toast, other strange things that turned out not to be true. But everything was so wonderful we soon forgot that experience. Barking dogs were the only disturbance, and not constant.

We felt very safe at this hotel - the hotel entrance door is locked at all times, there is a security guard at night. Site staff personally lets every guest in and out, which makes chances of random people being on the property close to none. Breakfasts are great, freshly made to order. It takes some time, but totally worth it. Rooms are pretty standard, have everything you might need. Hotel provides one bottle of water per guest per night. No external windows in any room, which also contributes to guests safety. They accommodated us for 2 extra nights when our flight was canceled.

No complaints really. Everything was good. Would be great if hotel had a pool or hot tub, but we knew up front that it did not, so no disappointments.

This was actually cuter than the pics I saw posted online before booking it. It has a cute court yard, a rooftop with lots of awesome plants! I loved that it was only a few blocks away from town… far enough from all the main noise of town, but close enough to walk to town and popular streets. The staff was so welcoming and kind! The breakfast was exceptional. Below you’ll see pictures I took of the property, just such a cute place.

I would say.. have a full length mirror in the rooms, some shelves in the shower for toiletries and a shower head that is adjustable. Other than that, I loved my cute room.

The breakfast was fantastic, a delight every morning. The location was convenient yet quiet. We felt very safe and secluded inside Centro. The staff were helpful and most day-time staff spoke fluent English. We appreciated the filtered water provided in the rooms each day.

The beds are very firm, and the showerhead seemed to be broken off, so water couldn't be redirected. Using the shower flooded the bathroom floor a bit every time.
