What a host (Fabiene). She is adorable who is the proud owner of La Deveniere. Secure parking available and once through the gates you are transported to another world. Fabiene is the perfect host and makes you feel most welcome and she even provided us with a well earned 'cup of tea' on our arrival. Fabiene recommended a local restaurant and made us a reservation due to our limited french. Our breakfast was a feast to behold and so much to choose from, we were spoilt for choice. Nothing was too much trouble for Fabiene and she even managed to find some gluten free bread for us,(the best we have ever tasted) at the last minute. We all felt like we had made a friend for life and we plan to return next year so that we can practice our French.

I wouldnt change a single thing, it was superb.

We had a very spacious room and ditto bathroom. Excellent rainforest shower. Plenty of hooks which most places where we have stayed lacked. We had our own outside sitting area. The proprietress, Fabienne, made us very welcome and also cooked us a very good dinner. Great pool, too.

There was nothing to dislike. Perhaps that itvwas 3km from centre and too hot to walk and no desire to drive either due to heat but nothing to do with the accommodation.

We were delighted with our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality and charming accommodation. We were also very glad to have dinner at la Devinière, which was delicious! Breakfast was also great with freshly squeezed fruit juice, home made jams and fresh croissants. I would whole-heartedly recommend staying here to my friends.

Not a dislike, rather a comment: La Devinière is on a bit of a hill, which after a long day of cycling required a bit of effort! The upside though is that it’s is in a beautiful and relaxing setting and the effort made the dinner even more enjoyable!

Very friendly owner and so quiet place, the breakfast is good owner make her own jam and good fresh orange juice! We arrived around 19:00u and we can still swimming the water is warm and our room is near swimming pool and refrigerator which you can take a drinks. We have a good stay here and it’s our 2nd time stay sure we come back always our favourite to stop overnight!

Quiet and peaceful. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Evening meal we had booked was delicious. Room was spacious, with large tv and comfy chairs, beds very comfortable. Wi-Fi had a strong signal. We only stayed one evening as we had to travel onward but could easily have spent more time there. Continental breakfast was more than we needed. An electric gated entrance and easy parking makes you feel secure. A lovely big property surrounded by trees and plants.

Comfortable room with own patio. Fabienne extremely friendly and helpful. The swimming pool looked enticing but sadly not yet warm enough and n may to brave the water.

A quiet, secluded, wooded location on the edge of Donzere, not very far from Viviers or the A7 autoroute. The 16 metre swimming pool is great, the bedrooms are very pleasant and well-appointed (including the dinky-but-fun poolside one) and the welcome is genuinely friendly. Breakfasts are served on a terrace overlooking the grounds. Although modest in size, it has the feel of a dream villa. Other guests staying there seemed impressed too. We booked a second stay on our return trip and had an enjoyable evening meal.

Wonderful and friendly hosts. The facility is spacious and located in a secluded and quiet neighborhood. The host is a great cook as we enjoyed our 3 course dinner.

The lights in the bathroom is a little dim and internet service is weak and sporadic, especially in the evening.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was 5 star

The only issue was no kettle in room as it’s nice to have a cup of tea

Fantastically quiet place, has everything you need for a good rest. breakfast with homemade marmalade under the shade of an oak grove was unforgettable! Very hospitable family of owners surrounded by their attention . Be prepared that it will be difficult to find the hotel, there is a very small sign on the entrance gate. Regarding dinner, you need to decide on your own, either at the nearest restaurant that you will be advised, or by prior arrangement with the owners.
