I have stayed at this hotel for one night, for the third year in row. It is fairly well located when driving down from Germany to Spain (or the other way), staff has always been friendly and I always got a quiet room. Parking is free of charge and since the gates to the hotel parking close at 10 pm, it feels safe as a parking (but could be an issue (?) if arriving late, before getting the code to your room and to the gate. Beds are comfortable.

While I like the hotel, it should be kept in mind that it is a B & B hotel and rooms and common spaces are very simple, with little equipment. Bearing that in mind, the price now being well over 100 Euros for a single room feels a bit but, even in high season.

The rooms are minimalist but have everything and are very clean. The breakfast is cheaper than most hotels and very complete. There is a very good restaurant La Brasserie easily accessible 3 minutes drive away. The on site parking is very convenient. We have stayed here many times, easily accessible from the motorway.

We had asked for a low 'étage' and indeed were put on the ground floor. Unfortunately the room smelled of dog. We were changed to a new room on the First Floor without any difficulty. Possibly hotels would lose business if they don't accept dogs (this hotel charges an extra price of 6 Euros for dogs), but perhaps they should allocate special rooms for people with dogs.

The b&b was similar to what we expected- basic but comfortable accommodation- perfect for after a very long drive from England. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced (we hadn’t included it in our booking as it only stated ‘breakfast available, pay at property’). Price was €7.50 adults and €4 for children, I think.

Not much in the area, but that’s not the fault of the accommodation! We were only given 1 very tiny pillow each. We were all too tired to go and request more at bedtimes, so my recommendation would be to have some spare pillows in the rooms or provide better pillows. As we didn’t ask for more, I am unsure if more were available, so that is my own fault :)

For an overnight stay on the way somewhere by car, this place is ideal. Not far from the motorway, fast food places nearby, open late if one arrives late, on top of which the hotel offers something simple to eat. Beds are comfortable. Parking, with a gate that is closed for the night, though opened for clients of course, makes the free parking safer. The price is fair for what you get. Breakfast quite OK for the price.

The view from the hotel is not particularly nice, but what can you expect from a place meant to cater for drivers on their way somewhere else

Good location for overnight stop. Good breakfast. Staff excellent as there was a power cut on arrival so staff had to take us upstairs to room and open it with master key as keycards couldn’t be programmed. Electric off for around 4 hours.

No electric for a while and beyond hotel’s control. Staff went above and beyond to overcome the difficulties. They could have turned us away or asked us to return later but they didn’t.

Nice place, not too expensive, comfortable bed, and quite clean! Private parking was superb. Supermarket and a couple of fast food restaurants were nearby. Couldn’t find any restaurant to sit and eat, most of them were closed permanently. There were many nougat artisan nearby to buy if you wanted. That was amazing. Montélimar is cute to walk around. It is a pity I don’t have time to try the wine.

I didn’t like the fact that the staff didn’t speak English, nevertheless they were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was poor. It is France, you should have fresh croissants and fresh bread.

Laurent, what an incredible guy! We arrived extremely late (4:00) and the guy was still full energy and super kind, also a bonus in France, he speaks perfectly English! The room was clean and super big, beds were comfortable and basically everything superb. Also the parking is Gated (closed) and free! Would recommend 100% Thanks again.

This hotel is ideal for an overnight stay on your way south or north by car. The location is quiet and not too far from the main motorway. The free parking is a bonus and the bed was really comfortable. The young girl in the reception who made an effort to speak English with me (which she did really well) was very friendly and welcoming).

No serious shortcomings, but I would appreciate having some kind of soap, floating or not, next to the hand basin and not just in the shower.

Breakfast was perfectly in accordance with price. The hotel is well situated for visiting MONTELIMAR and also within a very short distance of the motorway for onward journey. Furthermore, the distance from the main road enables one to sleep undisturbed.

Although one can ask for a hairdryer at the reception, having a fixed one in the room would be even better.

Clean efficient friendly helpful, all as described.

The heating and air conditioning are switched off centrally from about 10am to 3pm. The staff state they cannot override this. This was a problem for us during a two night stay and using the room during the day time.
