This home is comfortable and has an artistic vibe throughout. Location is close to scenic places and trails. Sheri is friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. We enjoyed a good breakfast.

The only negative for me was that there was no shower in the bathroom. I was aware of this but I chose to stay regardless because of the location and the breakfast provided.

We loved our stay here! The location is excellent -right off the highway and easily identifiable! Very interesting history and wildlife in this village as well Lots of parking The owner is a artist as well and this is very evident in how colourfully and tastefully the rooms are decorated, how comfortable the accommodations are, etc The owner also provided a delicious, nutritious home cooked breakfast in the am! in addition, the owner takes great pride in her business and was extremely personable and helpful! Very comfy bed, great shower/ bathroom facilities, spacious rooms

Loved it all!

Breakfast was the best we had while traveling in Newfoundland. Sheri was a wealth of info about the area and we appreciated how sustainable she is striving to be. Also impressed about the upcoming coastal trail project in which she's participating.

The Turnip B & B was a wonderful surprise. It was warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated. It was the best. Our room (Jigger Dinner) was actually a suite with a large bedroom and bathroom with a soaker tub. It also had a separate room with toilet and shower. Downstairs was a large sitting room. On the wall was a moose’s head surrounded by signatures and comments by other visitors. Very creative! Breakfast was homemade and to die for! Great accommodations, Sheri!

There was nothing in the area. Thank goodness Sheri had such a beautiful welcoming place where one could relax and enjoy her home. I would have given a 10 if the area had conveniences closer.

This seemingly remote B&B was en route to all our adventures for a week, and it always felt good to be “home!” Our host, Sherri, was most welcoming and helpful; she knew, for example, we didn’t have enough water containers for our big hike & lent us some, along with her hiking poles! Not only that, she texted to see that we’d made it down the mountain! Each morning, we enjoyed a feast of homemade flavours, often with a twist - we’ll return:)

While it looks humble from the road, the interior decor is extraordinarily charming due to Sheri’s artistic vision and attention to every detail. Same goes with the beautifully prepared breakfasts. Her helpfulness was also outstanding. One of the nicest BnB’s we have ever stayed in!

The Turnip B&B was a real delight. The B&B was very clean and so beautifully decorated! Sheri is not only a wonderful host, but also a talented decorator, chef and B&B operator. We lacked for nothing! I loved the whirlpool bath, and the wee cookies waiting for us on our arrival - and the lovely breakfast in the morning. Although we only stayed one night, this could be a nice location from which to explore the north part of Gros Morne Park and other hikes on the Great Northern Peninsula. Cow Head, with restaurants and dinner theatre is just down the road.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Sheri was welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. We enjoyed chatting to our fellow guests and were given tips on interesting places to visit on our travels. Breakfast was lovely and certainly set us up for our day travelling.

I loved that our room and bath were roomy and comfortable, the cheerfulness of the other living spaces along with Roosevelt the moose, and the very kind and welcoming owner.

I liked everything.

The host was wonderful. The home cozy. Breakfast was eclectic and healthy, not your ordinary NL fare; I was full until dinner. There were homemade cookies in the afternoon/evening to go along with a hot beverage-perfect after exploring all day.
