The facilities were good. We did not have a view but we were in close proximity to everything we needed or wanted.

The restaurant was below par. It is a very busy place and the staff are working hard. Our waitress that served our second meal(second chance to redeem itself) had a cold and was sniffling while she served our food. As a result she gave us all colds. The food was below par and the restaurant was big and filled. We had the cod…deep fried which seems to be the norm. It came with vegetables which I asked for. I was brought about a tablespoon and a half of frozen or canned peas and carrots. The second night I ordered a burger which was over cooked, the fries were limp and unappetizing. One of our group order the chicken which came long after the rest of us had finished. They ordered wine which had to be reordered three times. Since it is really the only show in town we had few choices.

Overall an excellent property! We had two rooms and no complaints. The restaurant was great, we ate a supper and breakfast there. My kids had no issue picking meals they liked. It's located directly across the road from the Gros Morne Theatre Festival location, which was convenient as we had tickets to an evening show. We would stay here again.

The tap water isn't drinkable, which is fine, it's common in the area, but we found it a little inconvenient to have to get drunking water from the kitchen. A small inconvenience, but just something I wanted to mention for others. Another property we stayed at in the area had a self serve water area, which we found a little more convenient.

Great location with amazing view! (get an Oceanview room if possible). Staff were very warm and friendly and will go above and beyond to accommodate you if they can (they got me a fresh lobster when I asked for supper)! Clean and comfortable.

Pool and hot tub were not open (pool we were aware of as still too cold) and the hot tub was unfortunately being serviced so no fault of the business but was disappointed not to get to use after a long day of hiking. Definitely dated but still clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu that was included in the room binder was not what was presented to us in the restaurant (many less items on the one given to us by the server.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are so helpful and we really appreciated that the pub let my friend stay to watch the game that went into double overtime. Everyone was so generous. The restaurant food is amazing, highly recommended. The location has easy access to Gros Morne Park. I also need to send a huge shout-out to the theater across the street. If you stay here please take in the local theater talent. We took in the Neddy Norris Nights show. Top tier talent and beautiful music.

This was a great hotel for my husband, baby and I. We loved that our cabin had a large living room and came with a kitchen, and the space offers great value for money. We also appreciated that we could order lobster for dinner at the restaurant, and had several lobster meals during our stay!

Our room offered two bedrooms, but we would have liked to have had a king bed for our family. This was not available during our stay.

The owner Darryl was an amazing host along with all the staff from start to end. Diana on the front desk accommodated an early check in for us and made every effort to get our room made up early even when we showed up impromptu and kept us informed. Darryl and the rest of us staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond extremely refreshing to see great customer service in action

The water pressure but I think this is a general problem on the island,

Staff was very nice. Property was in center of town on the ocean. Our room opened a door out into the beach. Room was nice sized. Clean. Breakfast was a fair price for a good meal. Laundry close by. Easy parking and restaurant easy walk back to main building so we left our car. Nice place good price

A little gem on the Rock, we had one of the rooms away from the main part with an ocean view. Had a beautiful sunset over the ocean. Restaurant was one of the best we ate at during our 12 days in NL. The lobster was the cheapest in all of our stays also. Seafood chowder was excellent. Staff were very friendly and we would recommend that you stay here as you explore the wonders of New Foundland.

The front desk staff and dining room staff were excellent, we stopped staying at another hotel because it got to expensive and we found this one that was right in our budget, there loss this hotel’s gain, and we will be telling our family and friends about this wonderful place

The price , these people know how to treat there customers without price gouging

The entire facility is very well-appointed - Swimming Pool, hot tub, sauna, with an exercise room overlooking the beach. The rooms was immaculate and very comfy. The management is top notch. I was standing in the lobby and a gentleman asked me "How are you doing young man?" (as a 65 year old) I smiled and said "Are you talking to me?" He said yes and we chatted. He was the owner, and I saw him many times during my one-night one day stay. He is very much "on-game" and attentive towards the customer experience.
