The hotel has a warm family ambiance with a playground out the back and views of the river meadow beyond. The little town is on the edge of the river and the hills. Eichstatt is minutes away with beautiful architecture, restaurants and cafes. If you are into cycling. There is a wonderful bike path. Trails criss-cross the hills and you can take canoes out on the river. Food in the hotel is appetizing, simple and fresh. The breakfasts are very good. Highly recommended for any kind of visitor to this lovely part of Bavaria.

Lack of laundry facilities but to be fair we didn't have much time to explore options.

We are Ukrainian volunteers and we are evacuating horses. We have a big car. and we were able to park safely in the hotel car park. The apartment was lovely, large luxury suite with 2 rooms, 2 toilets and a large shower. The garden in the hotel is very nice and cozy. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind. Chef - gave us a lot of time, treated us to beer, the food is very tasty, very large portions in the hotel restaurant. Recommend to everyone, families, groups of friends or people of age. Here everyone will feel comfortable, tasty and convenient.

Super family run small hotel, friendly hosts, very clean, great bavarian food and beer at their restaurant, delicious breakfast, comfy rooms, and gorgeous Central location between legoland, playmobil, (for the kids), and Munich. 3rd time we went, and will go again.

Clean and up to date accommodations. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant smelled good but we already had dinner reservations at the Lindenhof. Breakfast had a nice selection of cheese, yogurt, fruits, hot hard boiled eggs and bread. It’s the usual offerings but this was done nicely. Nice room and shower. I would like to stay here again.

Pillows are too small or they should provide two per guest.

Lovely hotel, definitely a must book for travelers in the Eichstätt area!

Great breakfast, Great staff, Clean friendly hotel. Would recommend to anyone.

Great friendly reception. Young lady spoke very good English . Room in Annex was very clean and bright with a cute little balcony . Has an Elevator and great bicycle storage . Immediately off the Altmuhl bike trail . On-site restaurant serves daily and has a number of good choices with reasonable price point . Breakfast was adequate with extensive and over the top COVID precautions.

We liked the the good, clean room, the hospitality, the helpfulness e.g. they took us to and from the train by their own proposal, and the good restaurant with quality Bayern Küche with friendly and quick service.

Clean and well-maintained place. Despite its relatively remote location from the centre of Eichstätt, the place was very easy to find. Perfect for an active vacation.

The atmosphere was ok but could be improved with a bit of distinctness.
