The Bergbauer is a lovely family-run hotel; it is probably the closest hotel to the train station in Neuburg. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was ample including eggs cooked to order. The hotel is about a 12 minute walk from the station and equally distant to the center of town and the Danube. There is a very good Greek restaurant between the hotel and station and several other good ones in the Old Town.

The room in the guest house was a little small and there is no elevator.

Very good location in the centre of town with a short walk to everything. Bed was comfortable, shower good, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Old style rooms, quirky. Shed for bikes.

We had an initial issue as we had booked a room with aircon but it only had a fan. It was during yet another heatwave and we are cycling for two months. Aircon ensures a good nights sleep. Reception called management and we were moved to a room with aircon. There is a bike shed but it was full so not always available undercover. It was secure.

Nice family-run hotel close to Neuburg downtown. Modern and spacious rooms. Great local beer at the reception/lobby. Very good and various breakfast included. If it hadn't been a bit expensive for a single room, everything would have been perfect.

I had a very nice stay at the Bergbauer. Although it is an old building, it has been renewed, and is quite modern on the inside. Comfortable room, with all that is needed for such a stay. Location in the heart of town and less than 10-minute walk from the train station. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great, with a variety of good quality food.

For me it's not my first time and it won't be my last time. I like the owners, very friendly and helpfull. Place to park in front of the Hotel. Very nice breakfast.

Sorry to say but it was too hot in the room. Of course it was also hot outside. But times are changing so also hotels needs to follow in this change....

Helpful staff. That's always a big plus. Really charming bedroom - traditional feel which is quite rare these days. And very well equipped. Enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommended.
