The hotel room, all staffs and facilities were great. Breakfast and meal were recommended. Thank you staff for supporting us especially khun Tom as the hotel manager. Plan to have good weekend again at here!

We reserved this hotel for 2 days on 1-3 July 2022 by using booking.com app and found that the hotel treated us as 2 tier customer. the hotel chose our reserved room with “worst view and worst noise” by informed us that it was last room. Later as checking booking.com app, we found that the hotel still have other rooms for same period. We upset hotel’s treating. Until we complained to booking.com, at 10 pm the hotel agreed to upgrade our room with additional charge THB 200. Hope this information be benefit hotel for improvement in the future.

I usually don't like to stay in hotels, even the best and most famous ones. But the experience at Baan Rim Ao was exceptional! We planned a trip to Chanthaburi for two days to see the local sights and visit the jewelry market and didn't book the hotel in advance. We looked at what was available on booking for a reasonable price with 4 stars. 

 The hotel is not in the town itself but in a picturesque area near farms on the bay. We checked in not in tourist season and there was another couple from China staying in the entire hotel besides us. How surprised we were when in the evening a group of musicians came to the restaurant (there was even a saxophonist) and arranged a whole concert for us alone. And when they brought us the menu, we couldn't believe that the oysters cost no more than 160 Bt. We decided to try it and it turned out to be the best oysters in our life - the freshest and tender. 

 The staff is a separate story. No one speaks enough English to communicate with the guest. This is not a chain hotel where the staff is trained to international standards. And that's a good thing. Because they do everything with heart and full dedication to their work. No even the highest standards can reproduce this family atmosphere.

 We liked everything very much, down to the smallest detail. And we have also never seen such a perfectly clean pool! The man who takes care of the pool is a god in his business.
 I think Baan Rim Ao Hotel is the crown jewel of Chanthaburi.

Wish I could stay longer

Great location, quiet view of the bay, very good design, attention to detail. As we were there during weekdays, we had the place to ourselves.

Staff was indifferent. Nothing is really a problem, but it feels like you’re dealing with a government office

The room service was excellent. They put two beds together after asking me if it would be better to have them joined, and I said OK. The restaurant here is excellent too, both in terms of taste and atmosphere.

The property sits on a panoramic view of big lotus pond and a swimming pool and a lake. It is a beautiful surrounds of nature. The staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating as we were travelling with 14 people in our group with many requests. Our trip was cut short because of other matters, I will definitely come back to this place.

Pool, view, room, everything about the hotel was excellent

This is only a minor, it's just Abit far out to walk anywhere. But if you like tranquility and you are happy to drive then I would recommend this hotel

no one speaks English, but we mange to communicate we ask unit for family 2 adults 2 children we got a regular room that was big enough and we asked extra bed

This is a well planned, well made and very well kept hotel. I called it pretty. Great attention to detail. The gardens are lovely as is the pool area and the restaurant area.

Yes,,it's far about 8 km from the center ,about 4 km from 7 eleven ,No transportation available except taxi. You can't come for long period.

Location is good. Facing to the sea. Private thus a little far away from main road.

Room is so spacious. Comfy. Good view. The food tastes good. If breakfast would be more variety, it would be great.
