This place is an absolute gem. It is a lovingly maintained and remodeled vintage motel. Very clean. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and so friendly. Spent way too much time talking to them but enjoyed every moment of it. We did not expect breakfast from the booking information but were offered a basic continental breakfast of breads, pastries, cereals, juice, fruit, and coffee or tea. Gratis Absolutely will stay there again, if have the chance.
The technophile might find this place lacking in usb plugs or Wi-Fi but it had enough for us. The stair access to 2nd floor was a bit hard to navigate so recommend asking for first floor room if you have any issues with mobility.

We loved that it was clean, the people's were amazing and friendly and they had a small Continental breakfast. Pet friendly, they have made it Accessible as they can for the Era, a bit of a challenge if you have a wheelchair, but its only because of the age of the building and they have tried to make it as accessible as possible. I loved the bed, super comfy and great fridge and microwave in the room.
It wasn't an issue, but asked what we didn't like it's a bit dated and no coffee pots in the rooms. But it's super clean and they offer coffee in the lobby so it's fine. Worst part is I'm a bit mobility challenged and it would be very tricky with a wheelchair to get in the front office because of the age that it was built.

Lindsborg is my favorite place other than my home in Kansas. The town is loaded with art. The people are very friendly. The lady who runs the Viking Motel was very helpful. I had difficulty operating the TV/Cable, she came to the room and showed me how to get it coordinated. It was just different from what I am used to. Other hotels in the Salina and Hutchinson area were twice the price. The Viking Motel was clean and comfortable and all that I needed.

This is a very old/vintage motel (keys, not key cards), apparently under new ownership. It looks like the owners are responsible, take pride in their property and are fixing it up as they can. My room was clean, the linens fresh and the bed comfortable. The furnishings are dated but entirely functional. Sonny was at the desk when I arrived - very friendly, polite and helpful. Check-in was a breeze!
The only drawback - the air conditioner did the job, but sounded like a table saw.

The kind lady at the desk was so very helpful. I didn't catch her name but she could help with almost anything I needed. The Viking Motel is located on the main drag of Lindsborg, very easy to find and right next to the Pizza Hut, a liquor store and right across from Caseys convenience store. It IS a motel so it's not lavish or fancy but it was CLEAN and has all the basics a room should have.
They must be a bit short staffed because no one was at the counter when we first tried to check in. We had things to do in town so we just came back later and the very nice lady was there. They are still pretty old school, made us fill out a sheet of paper with our information on it. Probably the most inconvenient thing of the property is there was no ice machine. The kind lady at the counter gave me a baggie with some ice for my cup but I felt bad having to ask for a refill the next day.

The location of the hotel was close to the cute town (within a mile walking distance. It was easily accessible from highway. Although the motel could use a bit of updating, the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant and helpful. The motel had the amenities we needed, just the rooms appear a bit outdated. Beds were comfortable with homelike sheets rather than white . Breakfast was a bit limited, but the small orange clementine was good. Coffee tasted a bit odd though. Overall it is a pleasant stay.
I prefer white sheets as it seems more hygienic. Rooms are bit dark and outdated.

The room was very clean, which is the most important to me. The carpet was a little dated, but the motel is obviously well cared for. Beds weren't the most comfortable, but acceptable and expected for the price. Great value, would stay again!
No table/ chairs to play games, but we managed!!

Staff. The lady at reception was very nice! I also felt the room quality for the price point was VERY good! Worth the drive from Salina for the difference in price, and we found Lindsborg to have a lot of great local things to see and do while we were in town.
For the price point, nothing was to my disliking. The room was clean, and location wasn't bad at all. It's not the same as more expensive places, so don't expect it to be. But, it was MORE than enough for a place to stay overnight, and the price point was very good for what you get.

It is an older hotel that has been recently updated: from the carpet to new showers to new vanities, sinks, and toilets. Cindy, the owner, is very friendly. Convenient for when first coming into town.
They’re trying to figure out where to put the tv cable boxes so the remotes work best. Minor detail

The room was very clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well and kept us cool all night. Good water pressure in the shower. The motel is older but well kept.
I wish the coffee was available later in the day.
