I've been here several times, I really like the place because of the atmosphere, yes it's old and slightly crumbling, but my room is nice, clean and modern with a seaview. My room is called Sciascia. The shower definitely needs a makeover, but it works. There's a quick check in and out/leave your key on the counter, staff not otherwise around. Breakfast is served at a nearby café, it's ok, Italian only, a croissant/pastry and coffee. Location of the Palazzo is great, right by the beach. Renovations started on the building while I was there, so hopefully they'll be able to give the property some makeovers. I'm giving them 9 and not 8 because of the work that started plus the uniqueness of the building, it is truly special. (maybe they'll get the garden breakfasts going again 🙏☕)

I just really hope they can save this gorgeous old building, we'll see how it goes. Make sure you ask for a nice room.

It was clean , the rooms were solid and the staff was really really happy and kind. The room gets cleaned nearly every day and the location is perfect.

The breakfast is not at the property but at a restaurant 50m away.

I've been here several times, and I love this place. An old palazzo with great atmosphere, modern well functioning rooms. Lovely garden with incredible breakfast, I had omelets every day. Friendly staff. Good location close to beachfront with cafés restaurants.

Comfy room and a great host in a historic charming palace a few steps from the beach. A very pleasant stay, would be happy to be back.

The location is good, just a few steps from the sea. Also, close to stores/restaurants within the town. It sounded like the facility had a relatively new owner. We could tell that they were trying hard to answer our questions and fix what needed to be fixed (there was plenty of it). They answered very quickly even during evening hours. The wifi was good. The AC worked well and was fairly quiet. The people are very nice.

The place is currently under scaffolding so the entrance is not inviting at all. The place needs a lot of work but the rooms were ok and they were cleaned every day. The bed had a memory foam on top and I don't like it but otherwise, they were comfy. I think the lighting was not very good but it's not a big issue for us. The shower had a problem with draining. They came and fixed it and it worked for a few days but then the issue came back. It is an old building...

The room itself was excellent, good bed, clean, great old building undergoing renovation, which is not a problem

Dysfunctional shower, Breakfast ( in cafe across the road) wasn't mentioned until I asked. Had to explain in the cafe why I came there for breakfast, seemed to me they understood. Then chasing me asking for payment (means they didn't) and nobody said to them about me coming. Anyway, the breakfast was half normal size croissant and coffee. Not worth to bother really, in the room was coffee machine,, which good, and a kettle. But no proper cups,, paper ones for espresso but nothing for tea! Thin plastic cups in the bathroom, that's it. Doesn't make sense
