Incredible views over the valee de roses and kalaat m'gouna. Very lovely hosts, accommodated our late check-in and gave us some mint tea and water after our long journey. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spacious and pretty. 10/10

A bit of a drive to get to the location, but worth it for the incredible views. Only regret was not staying longer!

First of al amazing view!!!! Nice staf who really wants to help you out to explain nice places to visit. It is a plus to speak French, but we kind of figured it out. The effort was already very appreciated!

Again speaking French would really help to bond with the hosts and understand all the tips they want to explain.

Dar Timitar was one of our most unforgettable stays in Morocco. We had a very beautiful room with a great view of the valley. Ahmed and his staff are so friendly and they cooked a warm and tasty dinner for us. We would love to come again and stay for more time:) Thank you Ahmed for this nice experience!

Service is excellent. Food is delicious. Staff is very friendly. The view on the roses valley from room and terrace is awesome. From there we could visit in three days three gorges: Toudgha, Dades and Amejgag. The walk in roses valley nearby is very enjoyable. People in the region in general are very welcoming and friendly. We are far here from tourist traps culture in big cities like marrakech. Very safe part of the country, and very telegenic.

The tagine dinner was small and a bit expensive Breakfast was ok, but the bread was cold and perhaps a day old. Be advised the hotel is accessed via a 1.6km dirt road off the main road. Water pressire varies from zero to minimal. I was stuck with soapy hair for a while until the water returned.

Dar Timitar is located halfway up Rose Valley and on a plateau overlooking the valley. It is a 2km drive on a dirt road off the main paved road but the views, wonderful family, delicious meals, and beautiful/tastefully appointed accommodations (one of the nicest decorated rooms of our trip) are well worth the effort. Beds were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Terraces are perfect for not only daytime views but sunset and excellent stargazing at night.

Ahmed was a very warm and helpful host. He has built a fabulous guest house perched on a cliff off the beaten path. Driving along the main highway, you don't even know this valley is there. We arrived at night and so had no idea how great the views were. We awoke to a beautiful sunrise and breakfast on the terrace overlooking this panoramic view of the valley. The facilities are tasteful, handmade, a bit rustic, and very spacious. If you are driving out to the desert, this is a perfect stop halfway there.

Our kids who stayed in a different room were a little cold. The breakfast was fresh and good but was 3 types of bread which were very tasty but we could have used a protein. But other than that I found nothing wrong with our stay.

the most primitive bathroom ever had, very low water pressure and very little water gave out from shower head. bathroom design is sub-standard. the 2 km dirt road leading to the hotel has no lights but beside a sharp cliff, it’s dangerous to drive to and from the hotel after sunset

this was the one of two properties during our tour through Marokko we stayed at where we were greeted by a woman - which I personally found very enjoyable; I wish more hotels would employ women. The view is amazing, the food was good - the room was big enough for 4 people, with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We got a good recommendation for a hike in the rose valley, which was easy to find and very beautiful.

The hotel was very beautiful, unique and authentic, the property has an amazing view, as it is located a bit on the outside of the city. The room was quite big and the decoration was spectacular, as me and my partner were staying for a night after being 4 days in the wilderness trekking we really liked it. We had dinner there and everything tasted very good, as the breakfast was very completa as well. For sure you wont leave hungry. They were very detailed oriented, making sure that at all time we were happy! The candles at night in the terrace wile having dinner, making sure the food was at the perfect temperature (as my partner was catching up with his family we waited a bit).

Having in mind that this is not a very touristic location it is the best, very authentic. Nonetheless the property needs some fixing, some light in the room weren't working, one of the 2 sinks tap want working properly and finally the ventilator made much noise and wasn't powerful to cool the room, as it quite big. It has a lot op potencial... just some fixing here and there. And lastly I would like to say that the host didnt treat our guide very good, he wasnt very helpful towards them (didnt even greet or talked to him at first) this made us quite unhappy as we were all together and he had taken care of us very good, it was unfortunate!
