The breakfast was excellent and was kept well stocked until everyone was finished eating, even if it went a little past 9:00 . The room and linens were fresh and clean and while the room was small there was plenty of room for my husband and I and our 2 medium sized dogs. It was quiet at night and in the morning even though it was clearly a busy time at the hotel. All in all both my husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. Any issues we did have were promptly tended to by the helpful friendly staff. For the cost of this hotel, it exceeded our expectations and even tho it is an old hotel with some old hotel problems, it is obviously well taken care of by a staff that take pride in it.

Good place to stay if you're looking for a bed to sleep in and a shower to clean up. With so much to do in Valdez, who would want to hang out in their room. The Continental breakfast is fair and starts at 5:AM. Plenty of time to go on your charter fishing trip if that's what you came to do. Yes the rooms are small, but who wants to watch TV on their vacation?

Weather change, plans change but Keystone was willing to cancelled our reservations at the last moment fully refunding the last two nights. Not really a bad option.

This is a basic and economical hotel. It was clean and their breakfast had many choices. You get what you pay for but in Alaska, it is hard to find anything that is really worth the price you have to pay. I just wanted a quiet, clean place to sleep and that is what I got!

No problems with this property. People can charge a lot more during tourist season in the Last Frontier.

The breakfast was okay. It was the same every day, so for a week-long stay it got old. The coffee wasn't great. But it was definitely nice to have a breakfast available so conveniently in that remote location!

My room had some splatters of something pink and sticky looking on the ceiling.

The staff were absolutely wonderful - they were the friendliest and most helpful of any at any motel/hotel I have ever stayed. I would give them a 10 if it were possible. The hotel was a bit dated, but that just added to its character in my opinion. It was entirely comfortble.

We enjoyed our stay at Keystone. The location was perfect and there were days we didn't need to use our car as we could walk to our activities. It was a good value and every staff member we interacted with was very pleasant, helpful and kind.

It's an older hotel so some things seemed tired. The hallway to get to our section of rooms had some windows with broken glass and windows that wouldn't shut.

Was great to have our family pet in our hotel room, and the nightly fee was affordable!

It would be nice to have the breakfast bar on the ground floor, since the current location isn’t wheelchair accessible! But the staff would help bring down food as needed!

It’s downtown and near everything. Staff is so friendly and helpful.

My room was a bit chilly most days - warmer in the hallway.

What a weird little place; but exactly what we needed! Clean and comfortable too.

We got there late, but the next morning the walls proved to be thinner than we'd have liked. The family w/children next door seemed like they were right there w/us!

Located close to everything. Lots of parking. Clean facilities. Good breakfast.
