It was a nice hotel in the middle of the town. The room was comfortable and a large size, with a had a refrigerator and a microwave. The beds were comfortable, and it was a quiet area. The front desk staff was nice. We enjoyed being in the back area of the motel.

I wish the office was open later than 8am. I wish it had it had a pool as well.

Jim, the guy who checked us in (possibly owner?), was really great. Super nice guy & really helpful. Loved the room. It was big, clean, & comfortable. Comfy bed & pillows. Had a couch in the room. Internet worked great, TV was more than adequate. Bathroom was really spacious. Was a great experience, all around.

My only super minor issue was the tiny ice machine that was kinda hidden in the laundry room. Laundry room light was not easy to find & the ice machine, while totally functional & adequate, was a tiny machine tucked in the corner of the room. Not easy to locate. Otherwise, the place was great.

The Shasta Pines Motel & Suites was an overnight stay for us on our road trip around California from the UK. Whilst we knew we had booked a standard motel, for ourselves and our two teenage sons, what considerably elevated the stay was Jim the manager. He was SO helpful and friendly and really went out of his way to give us tips about the local area. As we were enroute to Lassen Volcanic Park we had not planned to visit Burney Falls, but Jim encouraged us to fit it in. We're so glad that we took his advice. Jim also advised us on the best places to eat and they did not disappoint. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and despite being close to a road, it was very quiet and we slept like logs. Thank you Jim for being a great host.

Manager of motel is very helpful and friendly. Bed is comfortable and pillows are good too. Room rate is lower than the other motels in Burney.

Need more plastic and coffee cups. Wood floor needs more regular cleaning, spilled a drink and wiped the floor, it was really dirty. Shower curtain was hard to pull, the rings were tight on the curtain rail. Some guests parked their cars illegally, not in parking spaces, making it more difficult to get in/out of parking area. Other guests parked in spaces intended for other room than their's, so ended parking further away from my room.

Great location to stay and go to Burney Falls as soon as it open. Gas station and grocery stores very close, which was very convenient and helpful. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean and spacious. Mini fridge, microwave and tv made my night very pleasant and prepared for next day.

This town only had like 4 motels available. I think we picked the best one to spend the night. The staff were amazing!! I had forgotten my charger inside the room at checkout. Went back, and they had held into it for me. So appreciative! If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely stay there again.

There was no hair dryer in our room.

Room felt spacious (though we got lucky and had the handicap room). Nice location. The manager kindly stayed later for us to check in when we were arriving after the office was suppose to have closed

Smelled a bit like smoke in our room and the walls felt a bit thin as we heard things happening just outside out door

An excellent stay in Burney. We stayed here as we visited Lassen and Burney falls. Burney falls was just 15 mins drive from the property. This is an exceptional motel with super comfortable and clean beds with all basic needs. No complains at all! Would definitely recommend this motel to someone who is visiting this beautiful small town!

Room was clean and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer. TV. Wi-Fi. It was a really comfortable bed. And everything was clean and well taken care of. The man at the front desk was very informative and helpful and friendly. We came to see Burney Falls. This was such a convenient location as the falls were less than 15 min away. I would definitely stay here again. :)

The rooms were small but had everything we needed including very comfortable beds and a mini fridge and microwave! Easy walking distance for meals and groceries and a reasonable drive to the north entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park.

A few more towel hooks in the bathroom would be convenient (and I am making the same comment at a major chain hotel!)
