Great place to stay out of the main hustle and bustle. Loved it! The rooms are a good size, nice bathroom, bed was super comfy, lovely gardens and the pool area was so nice to relax around. The staff were really friendly and laid back and nothing was a problem. Breakfast was nice with great coffee, dinners were ok, but other options close by. The beach is beautiful and ok to swim if you are a confident swimmer but quite dangerous on the high tide with a big shore dump. Taxi will pick you up and drop you anywhere for $10 to $15 AUD

Not much to dislike! If I had to have a whinge.... when you use the water to shower or to flush the toilet you can hear the water pump which is fine during the day but slightly annoying at night

This is my second stay at this hotel. The Dream Beach right below the hotel is absolutely stunning, with huge waves. However, since I'm traveling with a kid, I don't dare to go into the sea, so we can only play with sand and take a dip in the swimming pool. The scenery is so beautiful, and that's why I'm here for the second time.

The room we got this time is a different type from the one we had two years ago. It's very dim inside, and the bathroom is poorly ventilated with a strong odor coming back from the sewer. It's convenient that the two rooms for our family trip are next to each other, but we can hear each other quite clearly even if we speak a little louder. The room wasn't cleaned on the last night. Maybe we'll come again in a couple of years.

The beach where it’s located feels almost private, and despite the waves, it was nice to swim there. The hotel looks nice and is very quiet. We had the pool for ourselves most of the time. They have their own restaurant, but you can walk to the hotel next door if you want to eat at a different restaurant sometimes, so you don’t need to leave the area in days if you don’t want to.

The hotel is more basic and rustic than it looks. We were just coming from an amazing hotel in Ubud with the same price and similar looks, and we thought we’d get the same, but no. Now, once you adjust your expectations and get used to the fact that it’s island life and you’re in a remote beach, then it’s actually quite nice! On another note, the staff is hard to find most of the time: we had to go to the restaurant a few times to find someone. And there’s nobody at night if you need help with anything.

These are very cute huts, 11 in total - they are not modern but have everything you need. The beds and bedding are amazing too. Situated on Dream Beach with an amazing view from the restaurant and access straight onto the beach. The staff are the best and so helpful. This is an escape and gets you back to enjoying the simple things in life. The pool is great with ocean views and it’s close to restaurants. We loved our stay and the team at D’byas. They arranged a great snorkelling trip for us too and we even got to release baby turtles!

Rating 10/10. We loved everything about this stay. It’s not your 5 star hotel, but better; authentic, wholesome, and a place to connect you to the ocean. Your feet in the sand while eating breakfast kind of place. The staff were accomodating to all of our needs (and delayed flights). They were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! Our ‘garden view’ villa still had partial views of the ocean and pool. The pool area was a great place to retreat to during the busy part of the day when the beach is busy. The pool was clean, and had a great view looking of the ocean. The food was cheap and delicious and beers were chilled. Location is 100/10! Situated right on Dream Beach, which is as the name suggests. Populated through the day, and quietly peaceful in the early mornings end evenings. Be careful swimming when it’s high tide and the waves are big. Only recommended if you’re a strong swimmer, otherwise swim when the tide is low. A walk up the short steps and you’ve got the famous Devils Tears lookout (highly recommended at sunset!). If you’re looking for a peaceful stay where it feels like time stops, then this is it. The worst part was leaving!

Loved the area. Peaceful is the word. Staff are friendly and helpful. They help with arranging transport around the island. The room was spacious. Decent breakfast. An amazing horizon pool. Have one of the best beaches right at your doorstep. Way from harbour but 5-10 min walking distance from the main attraction of Lembongan Devil Teas. There are many warung when you walk out of Hotel Area 10-20 min walking distance. However, it would not be fair to get out of the resort after evening. The roads are narrow and no lamp posts on the road. So dinner has to be done on the restaurant of the resort. This was the best stay of our Bali trip.

Since the house is made of wood, the room takes a long time to cool. I saw this problem on almost every island of Bali.

The location is right on Dream Beach and is beautiful and serene … it’s magic. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony, the fridge worked, and the wifi was good most of the time (occasional drop outs, but not too bad for such an isolated spot). Putu and his staff were all charming and helpful. You can book tours, ferry, taxi, bike hire etc easily with Putu …very easy and reliable and negligible mark-up. The restaurant was simple but very convenient and tasty, with a lovely view of the beach and with well priced food and drinks, .. but for variety there is another restaurant a short walk away (near the entrance to Devils Tears), and there is also a handy convenience store there too. Some of the more up-market restaurants have free pick-up and return … just a WhatsApp message away. If you want a night club atmosphere then D’Byas mightn’t be for you, but we loved it.

We loved our stay here. It felt like a little slice of heaven and could have stayed longer. Having breakfast at the little restaurant is the perfect way to start the day, it’s right on the beach. The pool is great as there are strong rips in the bay at times. The staff were gorgeous. There is a restaurant next door and we also hired mopeds through the hotel. We hope to be back next year.

Location is exceptional. Staff so helpful and nice. Lovely place but simple accommodation. For Bali standards it was good value for money. Would stay again.

Pool rules should be put in place. Guests were allowed to smoke, and some left their towels on day beds all day to save “their spot” while they were not there, which should not be allowed.
