Very good communication before arrival, answered all questions we had. Very warm welcome, lovely owner-run place which always makes a difference! Very nice building with lots of little details that make it special and shows how much the owners care about the place! Great communal areas where guests can mingle or enjoy time to themselves other than in their rooms. Table d'hote is available, but we only stayed one night and didn't use it, so can't comment on it. The room was spacious and clean, an extra sofabed was made up for our 7yo, we had a terrace outside with a deck chair, a little bench and two chairs which we used several hours that evening and was nice and relaxing. Breakfast was served from 7am (weekday) and was a typical French setup with baguette, croissant, pain au chocolat, home made jams, honey, fruit, tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate and as the absolute highlight THE HOMEMADE YOGHURT!!!! Do not miss out on this - it's absolutely heavenly!!!!! I'm not a huge yoghurt fan, but this one was absolutely unforgettable! Just the fact the someone finds it worthwhile mentioning in a review should tell you how exceptional it is! ;-)

A beautiful converted property, done to an exceptionally high standard and so spacious! Mini kitchen in the property was an unexpected bonus. Excellent breakfast, full of fresh local produce. Wifi didn't work in the property, but connected if you sat outside. Wish we had known about the pizza van that was parked nearby, would have knocked spots over the tepid McDs we had on route. Host was great and spoke excellent English which was helpful due to my ropey French. I would definitely recommend Le Saint-Hilaire.

Our stay could have been a disaster, but thanks to the excellent staff, we were still able to enjoy our vacation. A special thanks to Matthieu, we had a problem with our car and he helped us with everything he could. Our trip would have not been as pleasurable without him! The hotel was wonderful, with lots of extra comforts included in the price: especially appreciated are the pool, the Nordic bath, darts, pool table and fussball! WiFi was excellent, we had to work from there and everything worked well. Overall a fantastic place to spend some days in a very quiet place near Lyon. We appreciated the possibility to have a taxi service to Lyon with a reasonable extra fee.

Very nice and cozy accomodation, the owner was very friendly and caring. We had also wonderful breakfast - whole family loved the homemade yoghurt - the best we have ever had :)

The only negative I can think about is no ventilator or air conditioning in one of our rooms so it was quite hot in that room. The windows have no nets against the insects, so you do not want to open them as there were quite many in the evening flying around.

We arrived early and the staff were SO accommodating! We were able to access our room and use the pool. We enjoyed the wonderful sunshine in the lovely jardin. A complimetary drink on arrival merci beaucoup! We were tired from a long trip so made do with snacks in our room that we had brought. We did see and the kind staff also recommended a restaurant about a mile down the road. The pool was fantastic. Shutters in our room made it cool and quintessentially French! Comfy bed, lovely hot shower. Lovely breakfast of pastries and we think home made apricot conserve. great coffee!! We loved the first night of our holiday en route to Italy.

If only there was a restaurant. But there is one along the road!

Peaceful hotel on top of a hill with a swimming pool and a mini sauna. And the room was well organized. In the night it was absolutely quite and perfect dark giving us a sound sleep.We really enjoyed the vibe.

Apartments were spacious, pool was great and the owners were lovely and really helpful.

We we there during a heatwave with temperatures in the high 30’s. One of the apartments which was on the upper floor was unbearably hot and would have benefited with Air Conditioning.

A lovely boutique hotel with genial hosts and excellent facilities a short drive from a beautiful market town with several restaurants to choose from. My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) shared the comfortable and clean family room for one evening on our way down to Val Thorens. We had dinner in Cremieu on the Friday evening and enjoyed a lovely breakfast before departing on the Saturday morning. I look forward to future stays.

We had best host ever, so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for Pascal. Great knowledge of local area. It is a nice and quiet location with lots to do and explore nearby. We had great time and will remember this holiday for years to come :) Thank you Pascal and Aurelie

That the apartment was very roomy and clean the host was very kind and town were it lies is beautiful and quite movie-like the pool also met above all expectations

The drive is a bit hard but this isn't really important
