Well located on small hill overlooking town but a short walk to centre.Great views of town and countryside. Friendly and helpful staff.Was upgraded to slighter better room as I had stayed before. Room was spacious and comfy and warm.Balcony views.Laundry done promptly.Pool area for relaxing in the sun.

Cavernous Hotel is a quite dark and cold outside the rooms.The giant restaurant is a bit too much when there's only a couple of guests.Breakfast was repetitive and mainly just bread. The checkout process was unnecessarily long and complicated with the toting up of the Bill on a daily basis with Tourist Tax percentages having to be explained due to confusing calculations!

The restaurant food and staff were the best! The young lady at the reception is very professional and helpful as was the early morning manager (Thursday 5/2). We came to hike around Tafraout and this place was a great place to do that from - close to the trails, close to the souq, close to transport. The town market or souq should be visited - there are a number of stores that sell local spices and delicacies, like honey from the TIKIW cactus and AMLOU. Clothing offerings differ as well. And the town is the cleanest I have seen in all of Morocco...add an extra star for that.

The front desk could have a list of local taxi drivers to aid in getting out and around - but that's it!

A good stay over 7 nights. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was decent and plentiful. We also had an unexpected free 3 course dinner on the last evening, thanks! Great views over town / valley. Large and comfortable lounge area too.

The shower pressure and temperature was the only downside during the stay.

This was my third stay at Les Amandiers which probably says it all. Good sized, clean rooms. Friendly staff and nice food. It also has the only bar for at least a 75 mile radius! Decor's dated but well maintained and that just adds to its charm.

If I was being really picky the satellite TV in my room could do with UK channels, but I wasn't in Tafrout to watch TV so that didn't bother me.

I loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and ready to satisfy any request. The room was excellent and comfortable and large. The breakfast was excellent, very complete, the meals in the restaurant were delicious and at a very reasonable price. The pool was fantastic, with an incredible view of the village and mountains. I recommend.

Stunning location, with friendly staff. Highlight was sitting out on the terrace each evening watching the sunset with a cold beer, catching up with friends and comparing notes on activities.

Breakfast: Fresh fruit was available on request, but would be great to have as part of the buffet. 'Hot' breakfast was cold.

Perfect in every way. From arrival to departure the staff were all delightful and efficient, the room and view were to die for and the breakfasts were superb.

Nothing. The one thing I would say is that the photos really don’t do the magnificence of the hotel justice - the reality far surpassed our expectations.

Rooms were comfortable and had an air conditioner/ wall heater. Breakfasts were good. Staff excellent. Small bar with limited range of drinks.

Hot water in the showers was temperament, possibly due to a fault with the system supplying our rooms.

Breakfast pretty boring mainly lots of bread and jam with tea or coffee.If you wanted an omelette you had to pay 30dh extra! Heating in room pretty primitive and unsafe(see photos)but did work! On checkout the Bill was broken down in an overly complicated way that I struggled to understand.

Despite the slightly spooky headline picture this was a warm and welcoming hotel! The pool was fantastic the staff cheerful and eager to help with anything. The restaurant was good and the terrace is a great place to have a beer as the sunset. It’s a large hotel with only a few other people staying so it feels you have the place to yourself- definitely an experience! Our room had a balcony and the beds amazingly comfy.
