Upon arrival, I was made to immediately feel at home by the host. I had been traveling since the morning from Catania by train, then ferry, then train again, a bus and finally a 4 hour drive. After the basic tour of amenities the host paused for a breath and asked if I was hungry. A moment later a phone call was made and the fact that travel caused me to miss lunch was a distant memory. Well appointed room, excellent bathroom, fresh, airy and comfortable. The people of Montescaglioso are the best!

The whole unit was new, modern and immaculate. It was very quiet with a very comfortable bed. Kitchen was well stocked, large fridge. We made good use of the balcony which was nice and breezy. Plenty of parking. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants. Got some good tips from the owner. Loved the coffee machine.

Very minor but be aware the shower stall is quite small, a little tricky manoeuvring around in.

I thought I booked with breakfast but the owner said that was not the case. The WiFi was intermitent. Shower water takes time for the hot to arrive. Everything else great.

Beautiful and elegantly equipped room, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent with a very nice small buffet and home made delights. Domenico was an amazing host that advised us a local macelleria for grilled meat dinner. This was a special and great experience. We absolutely reccommend this B&B!

Exceptional facility - completed in 2018. Host extremely gracious. In a quiet part of town. Montescaglioso is very close to Matera but avoids the problem of tourists everywhere. And getting to Matera is really easy (about 10 miles away).

No provision of breakfast (we knew it wasn't included). Not a big deal. Would like to have stayed longer.

The place is wonderful, clean, close to Matera. Hosts are exceptional, super friendly and welcoming, given us many tips regarding the neighbourhood. I would love to come back someday :)

Very nice stay at Domus Dams, really friendly owners who had a good recommendation for dinner at local butcher. Beautiful room, loved the shower. Delicious breakfast! Would really recommend this place!
