Our stay in Tursac was a perfect location for visiting the prehistoric village of LA eyrie. The stting is perfect if you are looking to get away from it all set up on the hillside of this remote village. Chris was Really friendly and helpful and went above and beyond with suggestions of places to visit and suggestions of restaurants to go too. The rooms were comfortable and breakfasts delightful. Thankyou
From the main road to Tursac, the road that led to the accommodation was narrow and winding, and for us, it was somewhat challenging. However, this is normal for this part of France, and we were driving an unfamiliar, larger hire car than what we are accustomed to.

This place is beautiful with an amazing view. The bedroom is huge and the king bed super comfortable. We slept so well, my baby slept the entire night for the first time, the place is so peaceful and quiet. The breakfast in the room was delicious all home made. The host Cris is a great guy , always super helpful, we left something there and he offered to mail it back to us. I would love to go back there, felt really welcomed and at home.
It was a little hard to find we got a little lost, but it was worth every second !

The pool and accommodation was very good. Chris was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a really modern update, which exceeded all expectations. Well done Chris this was great.
Chris had a list of recommendations for restaurants, it would have been useful to have the contact details for each of these on the list. Knowledge of local food festivals in advance of the events would be an amazing addition.

I would recommend this to anyone with a car. The hosts/owners went above and beyond to make an exceptional experience for their guests. The breakfasts and the one special dinner were amazing, as were the quality of the beds. We stayed for four nights as our base for exploring by car, bike and foot in the Vezere. It was always a pleasure to return for a swim and a relaxing evening.
As they complete some of the projects and landscaping it will only improve. Our room was a bit different than I expected from the photographs, but it turned out to be wonderful anyway.

Upon arrival to the end of our stay, Chris was very accommodating, knowledgeable of the area and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The pool was a big plus and the view from our patio from dawn to dusk was fabulous.
Nothing apart from wishing we stayed longer.

When we drove up to Chris and Julie’s lovely manor house on a hill overlooking the Vezere river valley, we were greeted by a jolly British former engineer reborn as a wonderful host. During our four day stay, he was friendly and helpful in every way. (We did not see much of Julie as she was hosting her family.) When we asked if there was a washing machine so we could do our laundry, he did it for us while we went on a tour of the ancient Cro-Magnon caves and even hung the clothes out to dry. When it was evident that we preferred to have breakfast in our room rather than in the lovely dining room, he brought it to us each day, making perfect espresso the old fashioned way. He suggested hikes and restaurants, and printed out a back country tour that we took on our way to St. Emilion, providing us with a splendid Sunday afternoon instead of being forced to hang out in the tiny town overrun with tourists until our accommodations were ready. Oh, the room, grounds and swimming pool were excellent. We look forward to seeing you again, Chris. You set a splendid standard of a country manor host.

We had a fantastic stay at Domaine de Fleurie for 5 nights. The B&B has a very welcoming feel to it with a lovely breakfast/lounge room and terrace. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. We enjoyed the terrace and fantastic pool with a view! The stay was made by the exceptional welcome from the host. Extremely thoughtful, helpful and friendly, Chris made us feel at home throughout the stay. He also went over and above to accommodate our 6 month old during our stay. The food was great, brilliant breakfast and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal cooked by Julie on the terrace. I would highly recommend a stay at Domaine de Fleuire!
nothing!

A great place in terms of quietness, cleanliness and its location on the outskirts of Tursac lying high above the Vézère Valley with a wonderful view of the surroundings. Above all, we enjoyed the hospitality of our two hosts Julie and Chris providing us with an excellent breakfast, freshly and individually made. The room was nice, spacious, very clean and tastefully furnished. It's a good place within easy driving distance to explore caves, prehistoric sites, ancient towns and other tourist attractions from. It is well worth a visit!
Nothing to complain about!

Domaine de Fleurie is a great place for a relaxing holiday but with plenty to do in the area. The hosts are lovely and have plenty of advice on the surroundings. The property is tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. All in all a fab break 😁

Chris and Julie are the best hosts, you can think of. The place is situated up a hill side turning west with a lovely view over the valley below. The rooms are newly restored and very comfortable. Breakfast is prepared and served with free choice of bread, juice and so on.
Nothing what so ever.
