All the staff were all welcoming and efficient. The whole property was very clean, with beautiful decor. Our room was spacious enough for 2, with good clothes storage, and tea and coffee facilities. It was cleaned well. The bathroom was clean and the towels and bath mat were clean and lovely. The food at breakfast, though a little limited in choices of meats and cheeses, was absolutely fresh and beautifully presented in the lovely breakfast room. The hotel is perfectly situated for easy walking access to the rest of the town, with a huge supermarket, as well as traditional shops, restaurants, a church, the riverside and beautiful streets

The bathroom was a bit faded. The toilet was very high, as was the shower. The shower controls were confusing and the water was not always hot. The window, though frosted, had no curtain, for use when the light was on. The towel rail was not heated and towels remained damp, until we used the toilet roll holder to hang the towel near the radiator.

The location of the hotel was very good--central but not right on the main street. The staff was good, most of them English speaking. The room was somewhat small, but had one of the best showers on the whole trip and had interesting decoration. The room was on the back of the building and so very quiet. The breakfast was fine.

The chef was unfortunately ill so we were not able to eat at the restaurant, which is said to be excellent.

Well situated in the town and for attractions nearby. The room was comfortable, large and well appointed. Nice bathroom with shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had. Lovely restaurant, although we did not use it.

We were on the second floor and there is no lift, so difficult taking the luggage up to the room. The shower floor was raised, making awkward to get out, being wet, without slipping. The car park was up a long slope behind the hotel, so another climb to retrieve the car.

The location was perfect in a nice little town alongside a lovely river. Great for visiting the prehistoric caves around the area. A charming looking building with plenty of free parking around. Quiet nights sleep and friendly, helpful staff.

Room was cool, though not enough to worry us unduly. Bathroom was nice and warm though. TV very small and positioned high up on the wall, made it difficult to watch comfortably.

Good location near the river. Comfy rooms...we booked for 3 nights then stayed for a week, tho had to change rooms which they managed efficiently. A fan made for a good night's sleep despite summer heat. Good choice at breakfast. Very pleasant stay. Car parking at the rear.

It was convenient to the town and within easy walking distance

Granted we were there in August when it was in the mid 30’s but the bedroom was very hot as there was no air conditioning and the fan supplied wasn’t effective even on the fastest speed it did not create any breeze.

Excellent location. Breakfast is traditional French fayre. Restaurant food and service are exceptional in a lovely outside terrace area and garden. A delightful family run business, the proprietors are outstanding in their relaxed hospitality, real hoteliers who want you to enjoy your stay with them.

Air conditioning would have been welcome, we had a fan but still very warm at night.

Center of town, good parking situation, big comfortable room, all the comforts of home.

The staff were very pleasant and recommended a great spot for a picnic!

The food was exceptional. The best meal we have had in France. Superb... A place to go back too....
