The location could not have been better. Perfect for a quiet couple of days. The breakfast was exceptional. Stephane, the host obviously went through a lot of trouble to make the breakfast table a joy to behold!

The bed linens could be updated.

The location is easy to find (Satnav recognised the name) although quite remote. There are only two rooms, so it is very quiet. The rooms and patios face South and have a view over the fields and woodlands. Very relaxing just sitting outside after a day out. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat of the hotter days. Breakfast was a variety of yoghurt, fruit, cake, bread and homemade jams/preserves. There was enough such that we did not really need lunch each day. The homemade cakes and preserves were fabulous. Plenty of very good local restaurants in the area, only two are really in walking distance for dinner though; Chez Julian in Paunat (highly recommended) and the local campsite (we did not visit that this time).

Owner is helpful to suggest good places around. At first night does complimentary vine testing and explain the processes.

A bit remote, but from other side it’s very quiet and safe.

Beautiful room. Exceptional breakfast. Beautiful short walk to Limeuil village on a spectacular setting at the confluence of the Vezere and Dordogne rivers.

wonderful location on large property, fantastic peaceful views of neighbouring farms, very large breakfast with local products, genial and interesting host who enjoyed sharing his knowledge about the area, and beyond

The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful room with Franche design. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Stefan, the host, took care of everything we need. We very much liked the breakfast and verity of tea to drink.
