The location is perfect right outside the door from the Camino trail, and across the street from the sweetest little waterside village. Luis, the owner, is a sweetheart & thoughtful. He didn't speak much English (and me no Spanish 😳), but we managed to communicate no problem. Rooms are very simple, but nice little rooftop patio to lounge back in after a long day of walking, and my room had a nice view of the Bay/water, with a beautiful sunset. Luis and his wife are able to make breakfast downstairs in the café before you leave. I didn't eat but had a couple great cups of coffee before heading back on the way.
No complaints, it is located on the highway, but I didn't find it noisy at all with the good double pane windows

This absolute gem of a hotel was perfectly situated to explore all the beautiful little shops and restaurants in Combarro. The view shown is from our bedroom window. Stunning! There's a lovely roof terrace to relax on and enjoy the sun after a hard day's sightseeing! Luis and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and a font of all the knowledge needed to have a brilliant stay. Will definitely be back to stay with them.
There's absolutely nothing not to like here! It's perfect!

I had a great stay at hotel Xieto. I was walking the Camino and arrived early, soaking wet and shivering. Luis was most helpful and accommodating then and throughout my stay. He and his wife looked after me very well and he gave great suggestions for food etc in Combarro. I even decided to extend my stay another night and have a rest day exploring Combarro and they were able to accommodate with little notice which was great. Combarro is beautiful, it was a great choice for a rest day! I really enjoyed the sea view, the room having a bath and also there is a wonderful roof terrace, where they even brought me an extra towel to use on the sunbed and moved my shoes to keep them in the sun to dry! Many thanks Luis and family! Also the Mirabous cafe next door serve the best hot chocolate I've ever had and the restaurant Luis recommended, owned by his friend had the best pulpo!
Nothing, it was all great

An absolute gem of a hotel, spotlessly clean, warm, and with a bath, which was so welcome after a wet, wild and windy day walking the Camino. Complimentary umbrellas. A lift and great local restaurant reccomedations. Centrally located to the Old/historic town and the Camino, also close to the supermarket and pharmacist. My room had a view over the water. A charming town and hotel, I wish I'd stayed another night here.

The host and his wife were incredible!. They let us check in early. The facility was a little older but very clean. The hosts were very accommodating. There was a laundry facility and you could hang your clothes on the rooftop. I hung up my clothes and the hostess moved them for me to a better spot. The attached restaurant has snacks and a full bar. They made sandwiches for us to take away for lunch . There is an awesome rooftop that you can bring up drinks and have a great view of the water. They. were very accommodating and kind. He made suggestions for different restaurants for us to try.

The hotel is family operated. Luis and his wife are wonderful resources for the area and Camino. They helped me with last minute arrangements to transport my backpack, route ideas, and hotel recommendations. They do not serve breakfast unless they have enough hotel guests. I got lucky this morning as the neighboring cafe was closed and Luis made an exception. Great people. The hotel premises were spotless. There's a back patio to do laundry as well. The room I had featured a great view of the bay and all the amenities I'm accustomed to. They are easy to recommend.
I can't think of anything. I made a righr turn in the morning out the door and another right turn after about 100 feet and I was back on the Camino. What's not to like?

We loved this place!!! We stayed one night while doing the Camino and it was perfect! Great view, location and the owner is so kind and fantastic. He let us stow our bags so that we could explore the beautiful town. Great spot to wash and hang laundry and have a picnic lunch on the rooftop. I could have stayed a week!
Absolutely nothing!

On the Camino route. Great view from the window over the water. Lovely friendly hotel manager. Great location to the old area of Combarro and a supermarket. Able to wash and hang out clothes.
It was very hot and no air-conditioning, which was fine with open windows and breeze but made for a noisy night with traffic.

Fabulous place. Close to the seafront, cafes and restaurants. Luis was super friendly and helpful. Great facilities to hand wash clothes if needed, and a roof terrace with an amazing view. Fan provided the room. Very clean and well-provisioned with toiletries. Definitely a great place to stay. Very quiet.
Nothing.

The staff were the star of the show at Hotel Xeito. The proprietor went out of his way to explain how things worked, recommendations for good local restaurants, etc. He gave me a great recommendation for a local place to sightsee in a nearby village, as well as around Combarro. He even wrote down bus times and explained where to catch the busses. He did everything he could to make my stay a good one. The lady cleaning the rooms and helping serve breakfast was Maria. She was really pleasant too. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There's a terrace on the top floor where you can hang laundry or sit and drink your wine and enjoy the great view. It was wonderful!
