November 2024
This is a very cool, roughly remodeled property in a semi-abandoned town. It is stylish in its difficulties and has a really nice vibe. Good beds and spacious rooms make for a great place to stay in what would otherwise be a much less appealing stopover. If you are in town for the music, this hotel is within walking distance to the blues clubs.
The lack of an elevator on the first floor makes lugging the big bags up the narrow stairs somewhat tricky, though this would not be an issue if traveling light. Although we loved the digital room locks, having a different passcode for the after-hours entrance is annoying, and one would expect to have the same code for both the room and the entrance doors.

This is a very cool, relaxed hotel with amazing space and great decor. The lounge and the kitchen were airy and well designed, and the whole clean design ethic - mid century/industrial - nods to the building's origins as a printing outfit, with what used to be a railwaymen's hostel upstairs. It scrubbed up well! It's also quiet and very clean, and comfortable. Plus I really liked the kitchen area where I found tea, coffee, and milk and OJ, ready to hand. Beer too. You could cook if you want. It's just a few steps from the Blues Museum and the delights of Downtown.

Totally unexpected accommodation, quite quirky and had everything we needed. Close to all 'Blues' venues. Loved the 'bar' honour system and the open kitchen provided for all our needs. Great use of an old building in Clarksdale bought home by the general condition of most other buildings in the town and a lack of use. Would be great if this entrepreneurial vision leads the way to breathing life back into this seemingly once great town.
Can't fault this facility, even given that there are stairs to the upstairs accommodation. Great improvisation getting luggage upstairs.

The lobby/visiting area was very welcoming and well decorated. The honor bar was a nice surprise. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located near the venue we came to visit and had ample free parking.
Clarksdale was more run down than we anticipated. The long flight of metal stairs was difficult to navigate with luggage. We were not told about the luggage lift until we had come up and down. The rooms to the window were frosted so no view except through the bullet holes. :| We survived no TV in the room but board games downstairs would have been a nice distraction. My daughter would have appreciated an outlet near the bunk beds.

Very fancy hotel, opened 5 years ago, loft style, old outside, renovated and made old inside, very trendy lobby with free coffee and fruits any time, bar with beverages open 24h. Located central downtown, adjacent to blues hotspot (museum, ground zero, clubs). Electronic self-checkin with assistance by very friendly owner when needed; free parking.
Nothing to complain, the place to stay and be recommend. However, when hungry not many options nearby, most restaurants and shops were closed (Walmart with 5 min driving distance).

We liked the quirkiness of the building and the edgy style of decor. It is independently run by the owner who was friendly and explained all about Ckarksdale. High quality bedding and towels and products and very good walk in shower. Loved Clarksdale for its music and history. The atmosphere is very relaxed and has a self service bar and kitchen area where you can store and cook your own food. A great communal space where you can relax, chat to other guests and listen to live music.
A little more lighting in the bedroom.

Chuck and Ann were so friendly and welcoming. We loved the fresh coffee and fruits every morning. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was plenty of space in the lobby to work or read, and the table was large enough for the whole team to meet. It was nice waking up to the sound of birds in the morning. I would definitely stay there again.

The whole atmosphere was mature, clean, friendly, welcoming. The open lounge, bard, breakfast area was lovely. Appreciated being able to put our cold bricks into the freezer for use in our cooler the next day, and store our personal items in the refrigerator. The self-service coffee and breakfast bar was nicely done.
Wasn't entirely sure where to park, with two large lots nearby, but no sense of whether things were safe or not. It all worked out.

Very well done place. Decor was very cool with artwork in the lobby and room decor kept to a minimum- loved it. The self service lobby was great with the honor beer system. We met lots of other guests and shared drinks in the evening. Such a nice place in Clarksdale!
There were zero negatives.

Ultra modern but with rustic vibe. The welcome was amazing and felt more like meeting a friend than checking into the hotel. The fire was lit on our arrival and music in background added to the wonderful ambiance. Recommendations for the local area were given and they didn’t disappoint.
