We arrived at this hotel in a rural area outside the small town of Avetrana, Italy by bicycle after a long ride and were so pleased at the beautifully landscaped gardens all around this resort property. Our large room was spacious and comfortable although the furnishings are definitely dated. One feels as if you have somehow landed in a chateau in pre revolutionary France. We also had dinner at the on resort restaurant which has modern decor and wonderful food. The pool area was not open during our stay.

The resort property gardens had been reserved for a large party the night we stayed and the music was loud.

For breakfast were served mainly sweet cakes - fantastic. Some options of ham and cheese also. I really enjoy every morning to start the day with your breakfast. We could choose one of 3 dishes also for dinner, which was also in high standard. Overall the cuisine, comfort, services of Grottella were superb.

Location of Avetrana is not the best, but still good.

I liked the size of the room. The staff very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant.

The breakfast not much variety. Couldn’t drive to front entry so it was to far to take bags from car park. The music from parties was too loud to sleep.

Beautiful and charming masseria. The room is very spacious and super clean. The restaurant and the breakfast were amazing. Plenty of private and free parking. The garden and the pool are gorgeous. Easy and quick access to the beaches. I highly recommend it.

very spacious outdoor and massive pool with bar. staff was super helpful, the guy on the pool and the guy at the reception. we had been sorted a room service from the famous restaurant in by the kind reception guy and the linguine with seaorchin and tagliolini cacio, pepe and raw prawns were A1!

probably just the fact the standard room was little and the resort was a little in the middle of nowhere.

Perfect location for our stay for a nearby wedding. Pool was great and room was spacious and had everything we needed. Great value for money!

There was no iron available to use

Staff has been very helpfull and prepared to fulfill every request. They took care of us in every expect (even finding out a beach)
