An outstanding, idyllic location, with my room and balcony looking out over the sea. I loved waking up to the sunrise on the horizon and the sound of waves. The village itself is quiet, even in the height of the summer season, so peace and tranquility is guaranteed. The room was immaculately clean and the breakfast was excellent. The possibility of preparing a simple meal in the kitchen and eating on the terrasse at lunchtime or in the evening was a real bonus. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and I look forward to returning 😊

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly, it is very clean. The view of the harbour and the town from the sea facing rooms is exceptional. The only real downside is the lack of parking. Cerbere is only a very small town so parking is going to be a premium. The location is great for access to many beautiful bays dotted everywhere along the coastline. It is only a very short drive to Spain. I have already booked for next year. Its well worth the money. They do breakfast for you 13,50 euros each and the kitchen facilities can be used as long as you clean up after yourself. There are restaurants in the town which is only a very short pleasant walk. There is also a Casino shop. You are right next to the harbour and beach of the town with lots of little coves. There is good walking routes but wear good footwear as some of the paths are slippy with the local slate. We walked about 2.5 miles to the next big beach and had a lovely lunch.

Parking was an issue but not an insurmountable one. The balconies are a little cramp for the size of outdoor furniture.

I booked the hotel as somewhere to just kick back and soak up the views and it did not disappoint. The hotel is located on the opposite side of the harbour to the main town, but gives you great views across the bay and out to the Mediterranean. The room was very comfortable (I had the superior double) and a decent size - the bathroom was well equipped and the shower pressure was really good. The room and the public areas were all exceptionally clean and there is a terrace where you are encouraged to bring your own food and drink and soak up the views. They have an arrangement with a local pizza place so that you can order in and they also offer drinks, so a one stop shop. If you'd rather eat out, then there are a couple of places by the harbour which were really good with friendly staff. Breakfast was superb - a good selection of meats and cheeses (the goats cheese was amazing) as well as pastries, fruits, juices etc and a coffee machine so there's something for everyone. Cerbere isn't huge, but I took the train along to Collioure which takes about 15 minutes and is definitely worth a visit. Here you'll find a lot more in the way of artisan shops, bars, restaurants etc all situated within 5 minutes of the train station - just head down the gradual hill. Overall, this was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again.

The balcony I had was fine for me on my own - however, if there had been 2 people, then it would have been almost impossible for both to sit on there with the table as well, as it was tight for space. Nothing to do with the property, but to access it on foot from the train station, you need to walk down a steep tunnel system from the station to the harbour - it's very colourful, but does have a bit of a stench. If you have a lot of luggage, then the drag back up might cause some less mobile a few issues. However, if you have mobility concerns, I would suggest ordering a taxi ahead as there was no evidence of any at the station.

⸻ This hotel has the best view in town! The terrace is amazing. If you have a room with a sea view, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking scenery. The hotel also offers the option to bring your own food and wine and enjoy dinner or lunch on the terrace. You can use the kitchen and have a wonderful time outdoors. Definitely the best!

Rooms are really small

The location and view from each room can’t be beat! The rooms are small but very clean and modern. The breakfast room has a patio with the same sea view! The staff is awesome! I can’t believe this is only a 2 star hotel. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the rooms quality and the view are 4 star worthy!

The shower was great but water spilled over into the rest of the bathroom ( perhaps the incline wasn’t deep enough to channel the water towards the drain)

An unassuming hotel near the village with lovely, cleverly designed comfortable rooms that take full advantage of the spectacular views. The owner & staff were most welcoming and accommodating, enabling us to extend our stay. Although they do not serve lunch or dinner, you are able to enjoy your own food on the terrace. It’s ideal for exploring either side of the Spanish border. We would recommend it highly & hope to return!

No lift; lack of good restaurants within walking distance (there is one, ask at reception!)

Amazing views from hotel room overlooking very scenic bay. Rooms all seem to have balconies, beautiful spot from which to enjoy a complimentary coffee or tea, available 24/7 from the guest lounge, which leads out onto a large terrace with more seating and the lovely views. Wonderful coastline to explore. Beach and diving school in Cerbère and train station. Very well thought-out modern bathroom with sea views.

Nothing negative about the property, only difficulty was finding somewhere open to eat for dinner (1 May holiday probably explains it).

Location, atmosphere and utilities. Special thanks for the attention to details and nice surprise for my kid, having his BD. Hotel has a nice kitchen where you can treat yourself with tea/coffee and store some minor staff in the fridge. Terrace has amazing view and all you need to have romantic evening.

We were a bit attacked by mosquito- so bring some staff with you if you want to sleep with window open or jeep it close not to suffer later

View from room & balcony was great, room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Breakfast was good. Facilities include seating area, lounge & outdoor balcony for meals, fridge & microwave, tea, coffee, shared kitchen area. Location to train station approx 15 minutes. Friendly staff.

Absolutely amazing location with breathtaking views over Cerbere. Rooms were spotless and very very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was fantastic! Staff were very helpful and facilitated an early check in for us which was great.

Parking - there are not many spaces close by which can be tricky if you have luggage.
