The host was really friendly and helpful, and was a mine of information on Standing Stones. Also on Celtic music.

It's a 2 star hotel. Don't expect 4 star standards and you won't be disappointed.

Convience, although it is some way from the train station. The breakfast is good.

Only thing is that the stairs are a little hard with luggage. If I was older I might not have coped.

The buffet breakfast was good - perfect croissants! - and a selection of other items. The hotel was good value for money. The location was close to the town centre and had a selection of restaurants only a minute away. The welcome was warm, helpful and friendly.

Great location close to centre of town and just a short walk to the port where there was a variety of really nice restaurants. We were upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost. It was very clean.

As it was out of season we almost had the hotel to ourselves, the breakfast was good and plenty full and we could come and go as we pleased

The stairs could be a bit of a problem for older people

Convenient to businesses and the old town (5-8 minute walk). Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice bathroom & a good shower.

Have stayed here before a few years ago, it was not as good standard as it was then. Bar etc was closed and was a Saturday, maybe permanently closed, don't know. It was perfect for an overnight stop.

The Celtic Hotel has an excellent central location in the main shopping area of Auray and is easy for access. The rooms are very good, recently redecorated, large and well equipped. Metered parking in a public park is available close to the hotel. Good breakfast and very helpful staff/management, .

I don't think the Celtic had any significant disadvantages.

Location and easy parking outside the hotel

There was a bad smell in the room but was gone after airing it for a good 10 minutes. The pillows need to be changed.
