Clean, friendly staff, close to ferry

It was more expensive than what we have been finding along our trip. Restaurant is handy on site, however when you order something and the kitchen doesn’t have it, they are not telling the waitress before making it, and then when the food is brought out, you get a “let me check” and then “ sorry we are out of that”. Then still being charged the full meal amount even though you don’t get it all. Pretty disappointing practices. And this was overheard from a few tables around us as well as us.

The room was larger than expected and quite comfortable. It had a wonderful view of sunrise over the harbor. The restaurant had a no scent policy in the dining room, very rare and a pleasure to see.

The menu only had two gluten-free items and the kitchen was not able to adjust other items to be gluten free. Since I have celiac disease, that was very disappointing.

This hotel is very handy to get both to the ferry and from the ferry. We stayed when we arrived in NFL and again the night before departing. The resturaunt is right in the lobby and service and food was very good.

It's a large hotel, to my knowledge only 1 elevator. It's a bit of a maze to find your way around or at least it was for me!

It was right next to where the ferry dropped you off, very convenient. It was also very close to the town, nice to take a stroll around. The room was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. Coffee service in the room was good. Metal carafe kept the coffee hot. It has a good restaurant.

The night clerk friendly but had B.O.

It was convenient to the ferry terminal and easy to find. The inhouse restaurant had a good menu and it saved us going out to find anywhere else. Staff were friendly. Room was very clean and a good size. It had everything you might want including an iron & ironing board. Some places we have stayed at have had the iron but not the board??? We were on the ground floor and there is a lift if you are higher. If not for prior arrangements we would have stayed longer.

Breakfast was great. I appreciated that they had Gluten Free bread with some snacks.

I was disappointed that they didn’t have an elevator. My husband had just an injury to his leg and therefore had to walk up the stairs. As seniors this was disappointing.

All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent service. The facility was clean and well-maintained. Food was excellent. The view of the harbor was beautiful.

Room was comfortable, clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location great overlooking the harbour.

Dinning room meals were poor. Fish & Chips was overcooked, dry. Pre prepared frozen fish. Not NL normal. Breakfast eggs undercooked for over easy.

Everything was perfect. The room was spacious and very clean. There is nothing to complain about here. The resturant serves excellent food at reasonable prices and the staff there are perfect.

Very convenient place to stay with the motorcycles having just got off the 7pm ferry. Great nights sleep before heading off the next day.

A dirty face towel was left in our shower, I didn't say anything as there seemed to be a shortage of staff and those that were there, were rushed off their feet looking after everything else.
