Fathima (the host) made us feel at home from the time we checked in until the time of departure. The breakfast was scrumptious and very fresh. The entire staff was always friendly and willing to assist whenever we needed assistance. We highly recommend this place for a couple and/or family travelling to Newcastle or surrounding areas. My entire family will definitely go back again.

I couldn't swim because their swimming pool looks dirty I didn't like that 40% juice they gave us on breakfast Their breakfast was too simple they have white bread only while we eat brown bread

Everything, starting with fact that the owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was clean and neat, the bed was comfortable and the utilities were perfect. You get a sense of home and elegance from New Bali which I really loved. You may come and leave as you please which was really convenient if you would like to stop at the garage to get a late night snack. Do yourself a favor and book this absolute gem, hands down the best accommodation in Newcastle!

My only dislike is not booking for a longer period of time.

From the first minute on everything went just right. Fatima was very engaged to make sure the check in went perfectly without any troubles so there was some rest to get after traveling for quite some time. We got to enjoy a freshly prepared colonial / english Breakfast the following day. All in all everyone at the New Bali was taking amazing care about us wether we had some requests or they would simply try and help us by finding a place to eat out or things to do in the area. They literally made us feel at home there! Definately won't be the last time staying with them :)

Almost everything in the room except for the Netflix on TV, I'm not a movies person so I'd have preferred DSTV.

There's nothing I didn't like but the bed was a bit uncomfortable it's too hard. It's the kind of bed one would appreciate if you were a couple so that you don't make noise for others 😉😅

King suite is well sized and comfortable, essentially a studio apartment. Room was clean and neat. Garden & pool were beautiful and very well maintained. Easy access via own remote. Mrs Seedat was so kind to offer us complimentary breakfast.

Consider hairdryer in room.

The place is beautiful, clean, lovely staff, very comfortable bed May they please put shelters in their parking area , other than the parking, the place is perfect 💯👌

Nice quiet and relaxing guesthouse.. Very welcoming and friendly host...Indeed a home away from home experience..will definitely recommend this establishment and stay there again.

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable and super clean room. Excellent hospitality and exceptional service! Breakfast was amazing, including the surprise packed breakfast treats for our very early departure! Fatima and team😻 are great hosts. Will definitely be back!

That our stay was too short!

Fathima went all out to ensure out stay was comfortable. We had not arrived by sunset, Fathima called us and when she could not reach us, she went ahead and prepared for our seamless check in for when we arrive, truly appreciated the excellent service.

Our experience was great!
