Nice hotel close to my mom’s house which is kind of a tall order. Close to some good restaurants as well.

Being surrounded by farms the whole town smells like cow 💩 It’s this cute little lake town in the middle of nowhere Iowa and I’m sure people who are local don’t even notice it anymore but it does take away from the atmosphere.

Comfortable room I did my laundry and exercised at the same time. Loved the location by Black Hawk Lake. I had a lovely walk each morning. Then breakfast. I was visiting my Aunt. The Cobblestone Inn was close to her home. All was great!!

Tub could have been larger. I hate showers. No elevator Whoever designed the room didn’t take the view of the Lake into consideration. The room should be organized so that if your room is on the Lakeside you can see the lake while laying in bed.

The hotel was so clean, and comfortable and located in a nice quiet area of the lake. The breakfast was wonderful and nicely presented. We slept like rocks in the king bed.

The mattress on the pull out couch was very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. We would recommend getting new mattresses for these. Also, a fan or some sort of air in the bedroom would be nice.

Very quiet surroundings when I stayed. Enjoyed cooler nights on the patio area with the lake across the street. Dock It is right next door, so easy access to food without driving around. Very nice accommodations!

Very clean. Nice having a bar/restaurant right next door after a 10 hour day on the road. Gals at front desk very personable. Breakfast was good. A lake very near by and we enjoyed walking in the area after being in a car all day.

Everything about this place was amazing! Very friendly staff, the bed and pillows were so comfortable our room and the entire hotel was clean and smelled so clean. Our view from our room was also wonderful! Breakfast was so good and the coffee was delicious! This is a beautiful kept up facility and we would stay there again for sure!

Nice location on the lake. Great view from the room. A/C worked well. Nice restaurant next door.

Landscape is a little bit shoddy. Parking lot had a lot of loose gravel. Elevator would be nice. Give discount for meals or some sort of special for the restaurant next door.

the breakfast was adequate for a hotel, plenty of options. the room was exceptional, spacious, very clean, and comfortable. i would absolutely stay here again. i have eaten in the restaurant before and know it also has delicious food. great views of the lake, friendly staff.

Very clean and staff was friendly.

No elevator to 2nd floor and beds are too high for short people and handicapped. Will definitely come back but only can stay on 1st floor.

Free Breakfast was good and having a restaurant next door was definitely nice. The views were very nice too!

Pool would have been nice. Maybe a little shop too. The location of the hotel is a little remote.
