Absolutely amazing and warm team. The resort is cosy, with breathtaking views, clean rooms and a breathtaking sea view. The lunch/dinner menu, while limited, is delicious! It had vegetarian and seafood options, making it accessible to those who eat Halal options only. The staff are warm, friendly, offer help with superb attitude.

Nothing! But if you are a beach fan, just know that there is no beach access on this resort.

The bathroom was small and only had a shower curtain which really isn't 4 star in my eyes. The shower curtain rail was rusty and it would be easy to install a glass shower door.. No full length mirror in the bedroom. There was no kettle. It was also a walk from the marina which although was about 10 mins it was quite hilly. Really a hotel on the edge of the town.

The breakfast is really excellent - lots of choice and I particularly like the greek yoghurt and the spanakopita. There is a coffee machine which I don't like that much but the hotel also has a barrista machine and can make all the normal types of coffee which is really good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and quick to spot when you need something. I love the access to the sea from the hotel (although the hotel also has a pool) and how clear the water is. The rooms are simply furnished which makes them feel relaxing. I think the sea view rooms are the nicest. The sunken bar is great. It was useful to have the lift for my 85 year old mother.

It might be good to have a little more storage in the rooms, perhaps extra shelves in the wardrobes or more hangers, as I realise that extra furniture might detract from the spacious and light feeling in the rooms.

Very nice breakfast buffet with choice indoor or outdoor seating with a beautiful view.

We had a lovely time at Apollo Resort. The hotel, though clearly built in the 70s, is beautifully decorated and the view from our room, looking over the sea, was stunning. The staff were friendly and our room was ready early, before the check-in time.

The bathroom is very, very small, though I got used to the tiny shower in the end. Also, the room was dark and the lighting over the bed was poor. It was hard to read a book at night. The door and safe still use a key. Time to upgrade to a card? Breakfast needs improvement. The vegetables and cheese always looked a bit 'tired', the juice was not fresh and the coffee was ordinary.

Location. Cleanliness. Pool. Good coffee. Special mention about the manager. She promptly solved all problems she became aware of.

Main problem is the verrrry small bathroom, especially the shower that are no close to a 3 star hotel, and this is a 4 star. When you close the shower with the curtain, you remain with a 40 cm deep space, and the curtain sticks to you. I am sure everybody knows that nasty feeling. For breakfast, when there are just boiled eggs, the omelet or fried eggs should be optional - I was refused. Probably, if I would have told the manager about this, she would have solved it. I am sure they will solve these problems, as without them, the place is wonderful.
